#Women2Watch Wednesday from HipLatina

In the spirit of women2watch Wednesday we are honoring women who have made a difference and who are consciously inspiring others locally and globally. From a woman who devoted her life to the poorest of the poor, women mentoring women, and women of leadership in the LGBTG community. Let’s Celebrate!

This week, Mother Teresa of Calcutta was declared a Saint by the Catholic Church and Pope Francis. We have all heard of her, and her story is compelling. The Pope delivered a homily in which he praised Mother Teresa as an “emblematic figure of womanhood and of consecrated life” for her charitable work. She will know be recognized as “Saint Teresa”.
