The beach is my special place. I love finding sand in the pockets of my jeans after a week at the beach. We try to bring a part of the relaxed and laid-back beach vibe home with us every time. We have seen style variations of the salt life alive and well from both the East and West Coasts, not to mention the Caribbean, Central, and South America.
Our friends at Beach Whiskey share in our affinity for beach culture, so we met up to taste both new Beach Whiskey flavors: Island Coconut and Bonfire Cinnamon. The Island Coconut is a light and subtle liquid that is as great on the rocks as it is core to a specialty drink. Strawberry pico de gallo
This easy strawberry salsa has been on my list for a while, and when I tried it I fell in love immediately with it. It is perfect with a mild goat cheese and crostini or as a finishing topping for grilled fish. It is the kind of salsa that everybody likes: mild, fresh, and very different from the traditional pico de gallo. The trick to making this strawberry pico de gallo irresistible is to use firm strawberries and to really mince the chile serrano. Strawberries have a very mild flavor that you do not want to over power with the spiciness of the chile serrano. The idea is for the two flavors to compliment one another. Complete Recipe
