Katie Sterr

Katie Sterr grew up on the mean streets of Joliet, IL—a southwest suburb of Chicago, known mostly for its prison (you may remember Joliet Jake from Blue’s Brothers). She just recently graduated with her MA in English Literature from Marquette University, where she taught writing for two years, and is now on a quest (some might say scramble) to find the next path. She has tutored students in the writing center at Saint Louis University, Madrid Campus, and has written a travel blog for Bradley University. At Marquette she taught Rhetoric and Composition for two years, where she strove to push her students to think about connecting to their specific audience.

Katie lived briefly in Madrid, Spain, and is hoping to live in Europe again someday. She hopes to continue traveling the world, and keep writing as she goes. Follow her on Instagram at kas27us.
