A Walk on the Wild Side
From the shredded jeans, to the badass tiger sweater, Nuyorican Afro-Latina blogger Evelyn of Fashionista Over 40 is fashionable and fearless in this great outfit.
A lot of fabulous fashion looks involve looking super stylish, yet effortless at the same time. Mexicana Francesca of Frank Vinyl masters the French chic aesthetic of looking like you don’t care, but all the while looking flawless.
Spring is Floating in Early
Sure, florals were on-trend for Fall/Winter 2017, but this look has us dreaming of spring. Writer and singer Elly is ushering in the days of flowers and floaty clothing. This dress is so dramatic yet easy, and gives out a wonderful boho chic, feminine vibe.
One of the great things about fashion is that you can mix different ideas/inspirations/high and low/fancy and casual. Dominican blogger Orquidea Peña nailed this concept by layering a dressy, long, wrapped kimono over casual, distressed jeans. The spring florals and colors also point towards a spring that can’t arrive fast enough!

Got this little get up linked on the blog. Saw this skirt during the @whowhatwearcollection spring launch. Snatched it up as soon I saw it at @target ! Got my red one the same day. • I always pick up more than one ☝🏾 color when I really like the fit. Don’t you do the same 🤷🏾♀️?? #ifitfits #iwantitall #cmonspring • • • • • #ootd #style #target #targetstyle #chiconabudget #latina #lablogger #cablogger #whowhatwearxtarget #celebratemysize #mywhowhatwear #embraceyourcurves #whowhatwear #iamlatina #chicstyle #caliblogger #acolorstorystardust #browngirlbloggers #livbyvivcolor #gingham
If you have curves, it’s important to know how to dress them! Dominican blogger Vivian of Mix It Up With Curves appears to be well-versed in the bombshell handbook of highlighting a small waist, using pencil skirts to show off curves, and dressing in what works best for your body type.
Ray of Sunshine
Content creator and L.A. photog Paola Toledo changed up the teddy bear cardigan/coat trend with this sunny sunshine yellow version. She paired it with a basic white top, elevated with criss-cross lacing; a tough, studded, leathery skirt; and bold, chic, pointed sunnies. This outfit strikes the perfect balance of soft and tough, sweet and badass, and light and dark.
Another cool thing about fashion is that what goes around, comes back around. Trends leave, only to come back, and it’s always fun to wear trends again and see how they have been reimagined. YouTuber Cindy Limon is giving us ’90s-Tex-Mex-cool-girl vibes (Maybe it’s the Selena-esque white knotted top?). It’s yesterday’s trend, done right today.
Frilly, Feminine Casual
Puerto Rican fashionista Ruthy of Ruthybydesign shows that casual looks can be elevated several levels by an unexpected piece. A look with pastel sneakers, a white T, and a jean jacket gets knocked out of the park with the addition of this beautiful, springy, tiered floral skirt.
Sleek and Stripes
Panameña fashion blogger and doctor, Dr. Kayra Merrills is owning this sleek look! From the chic turban, to the colorful, vertical-striped pencil skirt and black pumps, this outfit looks stylish, ornate yet effortless, and actually comfortable!
