Reach out and Connect With Your Primas Through Holiday Cards

This year, we’re making cards with Shutterfly, and encouraging our family members to do the same. Why Shutterfly? Because they provide the best variety of cards at the best prices, handle the shipping directly from their site to our mailing list, and their website is so easy to use that I think even my least tech savvy uncle will be able to handle it—let’s hope! Here are some of our favorite holiday card designs offered by Shutterfly for 2015:

1. The Hermosa Nieve Tarjeta de Navidad card. This sturdy single-image card is great to use as an ornament—imagine if all your cousins sent ornament cards and you could decorate your tree with the faces and places of family.

2. Paz en el Mundo Tarjeta de Navidad. This gorgeous flat stationary card comes in dark blue or green, and has space for up to eight small images, along with a personal message.

3. Shutterfly Felicidad de Nieve Tarjeta de Navidad. This classic vertical folded style card reminds me of the old days of the fireplace mantel cards, but its gold shimmer color and multiple image boxes give it a current feel. This card would be perfect for family members who like a modern take on a traditional card.Holiday HipLatina Shutterfly One of my favorite family traditions as a kid was working together with my mother and brother at the end of January to take all of that year’s holiday cards off the mantel and put them into a scrapbook. This was fun because it gave us a chance to look carefully at all the cards one last time that season, and because it ensured that these memories would be safe for years to come, stored neatly in scrapbooks on our shelves.

This year, don’t let the moment pass you by—order a set of lovely cards to share with everyone you love.
