Note:

-If you want to convert this alcohol-free cocktail to a regular cocktail just add some vodka or other mild  tasting liquor.

-For this cocktail recipe you could use regular hibiscus tea bags or  boil natural  hibiscus flowers. To  do this add 1 cup of hibiscus flowers to a pot with 3 cups of water. When the water starts boiling turn it off cover and let it steep, when cold drain and save the flowers for later use.

Sometimes I feel like having a cocktail, cold and delicious. A drink full of flavor with unexpected notes and an amazing aftertaste. But I will get real with you, I do not drink any hard liquor. I’m a wine lover— I love my reds, my whites, and my rosés. But I do like to drink them at night when I have nothing else to do for the day. I like to sip wine to relax, to take the edge off the day, or on the weekend during a long lunch.

But there have been times in my life where I couldn’t drink at all. Take for example when I was pregnant, or when I have to drive after dinner with friends. These are the times when alcohol-free cocktail recipes come in handy. When you are eating something delicious, or just chilling in the afternoon with the kids. This non alcoholic cocktail is refreshing, healthy, and has an addictive tart flavor. The best part is that you can prepare it in advance and share it with any thirsty person, child or adult.

Hibiscus and cherries are super powerful ingredients they are full of antioxidants and vitamins and both have a tarty flavor. Surprisingly they work perfect together and you’ll fall in love with them all over again.
