New Year’s Eve: this is one of those holidays my friend Kelly calls “a holiday for amateurs”—meaning everyone and their cousin Belinda comes out of the house for the first time all year, clogging up all the fun bars and restaurants and sending the Uber surge prices to a new high. I still have nightmares of standing on a freezing sidewalk in the rain squinting into headlights looking for my driver’s Toyota Camry. This time let’s escape the antics and create a rainbow hued world of our own. Here are all the recipes you’ll need for a killer NYE party at home.
