Look, let’s not beat around the bush… literally. Sometimes you need to be able to talk to someone about the awkward things in life, like why in god’s name your vagina is dry all of a sudden. Yes, really. This is definitely one of those subjects that I don’t remember ever discussing with my mami growing up but, as I’ve gotten older and learned to take care of my sexual health, caring for my area down there has become a crucial part of being a healthy, adult woman.

So here’s the awkward question: Is your vagina dry? It happens. But before you get frustrated and quit trying to take care of your lady bits, you have to know that this is actually totally normal and that there are many reasons why your vaginal lubrication (or lack thereof) is causing you problems. In fact, according to doctors, here are 10 reasons why you may be having an issue with vaginal dryness. Oh, and, don’t forget to buy lubricant if you plan to get sexually active during this period. It’ll help, trust me.
