Last night, the best of Latin entertainment hit the stage at Premio Lo Nuestro awards at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida — and what a show it was! Pitbull, Thalia, and Alejandra Espinosa hosted the star-studded event, and there were a lot of surprises, including the return of that iconic green Versace dress and a legendary actor who shocked everyone with his appearance.

But first, we should acknowledge some of the winners. It’s very telling that at an award season, where Latin music stars boycotted the Latin Grammys because they felt like all music was not being represented correctly, Premio Lo Nuestro is taking positive actions to make sure that wasn’t the case with this award ceremony.

This year Premio Lo Nuestro added a whopping nine new categories including new artist male, new artist female, pop/ballad – artist of the year, urban/ pop – song of the year, urban/trap – song of the year, regional Mexican – collaboration of the year, sierreña song of the year and mariachi/ranchera song of the year.

And the big winner of the night was Daddy Yankee, who took home seven awards. Bad Bunny also scored five awards, and Sebastian Yatra and Christian Nodal each won three awards.

The performers also lit the stage on fire. We saw incredible performances by Ricky Martin, Becky G, David Bisbal, Cazzu, Chiquis, Nicky Jam, Carlos Rivera, Greeicy, Mau y Ricky, Natti Natasha, Pedro Capó, Reykon, Ricardo Montaner, Willie Colón, Yennis, Zion y Lennox, CNCO, Gerardo Ortiz, Reik, Prince Royce, Thalía, Manuel Turizo and, of course, Daddy Yankee. But now back to insane fashion!

Here’s a look at some of the wildest, insane, and WTF fashion of the night.

Maria Pia Copello

We have to start with Maria Pia Copello who wore a number that clearly was inspired by Jennifer Lopez’s famous Versace dress. It doesn’t look exactly like the original but there’s no doubt that Copello was very obviously influenced by J.Lo’s style. Regardless, this dress is still a pretty damn good replica of the original iconic dress. And we’re glad this look is getting a chance to shine once again.

Cazzu

We love singer Cazzu’s goth style. It’s actually very refreshing to see a Latin celeb opting out of the typical shimmery prom dress look and going for a more sinister yet sexy look. This mesh black dress, with a two-piece underneath, goes with her dark aesthetic. We’re sure the tias watching were probably appalled. But who cares?! The last thing we need on the red carpet is boring.

Thalia

We can always count on Mexican legend Thalia to bring the fire on the red carpet. She is the golden standard for classic, I mean the lady does not age and she honestly looks better than ever. Aside from serving as host, she also performed, which is mindboggling. She can seriously do it all.

Alejandra Espinosa

Thalia and Pitbull’s third host was Alejandra Espinosa. And like Thalia, she too wore a shimmery silver dress courtesy of Albina Dyla. We just can’t tell if she’s wearing anything under it. Oh well, such is fashion.

Daddy Yankee

The big winner of the night did not go all out on the red-carpet, but we didn’t expect Daddy Yankee too anyway. He stays rocking all-black looks — all the time. And despite his black uniform that we’re used to, we do love seeing all of his awards serve as the perfect accessory.

Chiquis

Chiquis, the daughter of the late Jenny Rivera, performed last night and we were pleasantly surprised. Her outfit on stage was a bit much and did not do her curvy body justice. However, her red carpet shimmery gown definitely made up for it and hugged her in all the right places. She looked amazing!

Becky G

Speaking of shimmery dresses, singer Becky G also wore a similar look but instead of a long fitted gown, she went for a short dress, which works for petite women. More than anything, we were loving her ponytail.

Jaime Camil

The best-dressed couple of the night had to be Jaime Camil and Sandra Echeverria. No, they aren’t actually dating but still — they looked simply perfect on the red carpet together.

Sofia Reyes

One of our favorite looks of the night had to be this cowboy number by singer Sofia Reyes. We love how she’s representing her music with a fun and colorful suit. We’re seeing more and more how a cowboy hat is becoming her signature look.
