To say 2021 has been Demi Lovato’s year would be an understatement. She dropped Dancing with the Devil, a four-part YouTube documentary about their struggles with addiction, their first album since 2017 Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over, and a weekly podcast all before June. Now Lovato’s new celebrity talk show, The Demi Lovato Show, is available to stream for free on The Roku channel. Lovato also recently  announced on their new podcast, 4D, that they identify as non-binary and changed their pronouns to they/them.

“To say I’ve been through a lot is an understatement,” said Lovato in the series trailer. “This show is a safe space for honesty and vulnerability, and I’m so grateful for everyone who’s joining me.”

Lovato also took to Instagram to share the announcement, captioning their post, “#TheDemiLovatoShow is now available on @therokuchannel !! I had such a fun time filming this show and getting to know even MORE about my lovely guests 💖 Thank you to everyone that stopped by 🥺.”

With a runtime of 10 minutes each, the episodes will feature special guests with a variety of backgrounds and expertise, including actors Jameela Jamil, Lucy Hale, and Olivia Munn; YouTuber Nikita Dragun, rapper YG; ufologist Dr. Steven Greer, nutritionist Elyse Resch; and life coach and former monk Jay Shetty. Lovato’s best friends Matthew Scott Montgomery and Sirah will also make a dual appearance in the first episode.

And no topic is off-limits either. Just in the episodes so far, Lovato and their special guests will be covering activism, police brutality, trans rights, feminism, gender identity, sex and body positivity, mental health, and even aliens and UFOs. So expect trending and timely issues mixed in with some niche and quirky topics.

“Some conversations can be difficult, but I’ve never been one to shy away from speaking candidly about things,” Lovato in a statement. “We wanted to create a space that normalizes living your own truth — where people can speak, engage and more importantly, learn, together. There’s something therapeutic about having raw discussions that people can relate to.”

But Lovato won’t be stopping here either. Along with their talk show, their four-part Peacock docuseries exploring UFO sightings and phenomena, Unidentified with Demi Lovato, is currently in the works. They will also be executive-producing and co-starring with Valerie Bertinelli in Hungry, an NBC comedy series following a circle of friends who attend the same food-issues group. We can’t wait to stream them all and we’re so happy to see Lovato on the up and up after her 2018 overdose.

The Demi Lovato Show is now streaming on The Roku Channel.
