After 20 years representing Victoria’s Secret, Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima is out! The 37-year-old beauty is retiring from her work with the lingerie company after working with them for 20 years and participating in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the past 18.
“Dear Victoria, Thank you for showing me the world, sharing your secrets, and most importantly not just giving me wings but teaching me to fly. And all the ❤️ to the best fans in the ?! Love, Adriana ?”
The show aired on TV last night and fans all over the world, along with her model colleagues, praised Lima for being a VS representative. So what will she do now? Lima, who’s been involved with STEM education, will still be modeling and also advocating for women’s causes.
“I’m looking forward to support women and being connected to different projects which support women around the world,” she told People magazine. “That like my future from now on but I am still happy that I am part of Victoria’s Secret this year. You guys are going to love this year’s show. To me it is definitely going be very special.”
The show was beyond special. Lima’s let her emotions show and we loved seeing how much this moment met to her.
