The cosmetics brand Nars, recently announced that they will no longer be a cruelty free brand so they can start selling their products in China, where it’s required for brands to test on animals. Nars-loving fans across the globe are outraged. Personally I hate the idea of bunnies being tortured so I can put stuff on my face. I’m not about that life and you shouldn’t be either. Fortunately there are still brands out there who are finding the ethical way to make bomb-ass products. Here are four brands you can support and follow on Instagram for inspiration and updates on new products.

Urban Decay Cosmetics

My personal favorite brand for highly pigmented palettes, eyeshadow primer, and all things NAKED. If you want the drama, you’ve come to the right place. They’ve just released the newest edition to their NAKED collection, NAKED Heat, which is now available at Ulta.com.
