6 Moments That Prove Demi Lovato Is Doing Well Since Rehab

Demi Lovato spent Christmas this year alongside her family and furry friends. The 26-year-old artist shared several photos and videos on her Instagram Stories on December 25 as her family decorated cookies, made Christmasy gelatin and unwrapped gifts, which included gifts for the dogs. Lovato even captioned one video, “It’s really all about the dogs over here…”   

Fans were overjoyed to see the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer in good spirits, especially after her near-fatal overdose back in July. Lovato was expected to be in rehab for several months but was released in early November. In late October, her mother, Dianna de la Garza, told Maria Menounos of Sirius XM that Lovato was sober for 90 days, which is a huge milestone.

“She has 90 days,” De La Garza said. “I couldn’t be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction being a disease, it’s work. It’s very hard. It’s not easy, and there are no shortcuts.”

It’s been a little more than a month since the star’s rehab release and it’s clear she’s not giving up the fight to live a happy, healthy and fabulous life. Here, we highlight several moments where Lovato is showing she’s back and blessed:

The artist rang in the year with her mother, stepfather, Eddie de la Garza; and her sisters, Dallas Lovato and Madison de la Garza, as well as friends. You can tell they were all happy to be spending the holidays together alongside their four-legged companions.

Lovato and Henry Levy were spotted outside the Nobu sushi restaurant in Malibu on December 8, a month after they were first spotted hanging out together in Los Angeles.
