High-end mascaras are one of my favorite beauty products to splurge on. But, if you’re someone like me who goes through tubes in no time and loves layering on the volume, it can burn a hole in your pocketbook! Contrary to popular belief, the drugstore has some great mascaras that really hold a curl well and don’t flake. Here are some of my top drugstore mascara choices that are great dupes for luxury mascaras!

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara for Dior Diorshow Mascara

Dior’s Diorshow mascara is known for its microfiber formula that lengthens and volumizes lashes. However, at $28.50, it can get a bit pricey if you’re having to repurchase more frequently than you thought you would! Before your next Sephora run, stop in your local drugstore and try out L’Oreal’s Voluminous Mascara. This mascara is bound to give you bigger, bolder lashes without making them clumpy or brittle. L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara, Target, $6.

Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara was extremely popular when it launched in 2016, and it still continues to be one of the best high-end mascaras on the market. However, L’Oreal just recently launched their Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara, which is a dupe for BTS right down to the pink packaging. The brush is in the same hourglass shape as Too Faced’s, and the formula is almost the same consistency. After application of Lash Paradise, lashes remain soft and feather to the touch, and they look voluptuous and pigmented all throughout the day! L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise, Ulta, $10.

Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara is great for achieving the long, fanned lash look, but if you’re wanting to skip the $24 and go for something a little more price friendly, check out Maybelline’s The Rocket Mascara! The rubber brush has thin, pointed bristles for expert application and perfectly separated lashes. Lashes look sleek, chic, and perfectly fanned. ULTA Plush Drama Mascara for Estee Lauder’s Sumptuous Extreme Mascara

Estee Lauder’s Sumptuous Extreme Mascara is a cult classic – it makes eyes look “brighter, wider, more seductive.” It’s mousse and microfiber formula is ultra lightweight, making lashes look bold and beautiful without weighing them down. However, if you don’t want your wallet to be ultra lightweight, try out ULTA’s Plush Drama Mascara. Its large, fluffy bristle brush is almost identical to Estee Lauder’s, and it also creates a plush, dramatic look. It’s paraben free and fragrance free, too, so it’s suitable for sensitive eyes that water easily. Ulta Plush Drama Mascara, Ulta, $11.
