The 9 Best Halloween Costumes from Your Favorite Celebs
The freaks came out last night for Halloween and they did not disappoint
The freaks came out last night for Halloween and they did not disappoint. From Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween bash to good old fashion trick or treating, celebrities of all ages celebrated last night with some incredible costumes. Some went as Marilyn Monore, others as Twilight Zone characters, a few were based on real people, and others even went as themselves from twenty years ago.
What’s so interesting about celebrities going all out on Halloween is that you’d think they’d be tired of dressing up and putting on all that makeup. From the looks of it, it’s pretty clear celebs love to dress up whether they’re on the set or not.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite looks from this year’s Halloween night.

Cardi B

The Bronx rapper outdid herself this Halloween, which seems virtually impossible at this point, but she did! Showing off her beautiful tattoos, Cardi B dressed up as the DC Comics superhero Poison Ivy. We love how her tattoos blended into her costume. For a quick second, it almost appears like Cardi is wearing an actual bodysuit paired with boots and an impressively long red wig. But it turns out she wasn’t wearing a bottom at all — just a leaf! Click here for the NSFW image. It’s hot!

Ariana Grande

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That is the theme of Ariana Grande’s Twilight Zone-theme Halloween costume. The superstar put on the scariest mask ever and here’s why: If you haven’t seen that Twilight Zone episode (season 2, episode 6), the twist is that everyone on the planet looks like this, with the upward nose and the droopy eyes. While another woman who is “beautiful” is desperate for surgery so she can look like everyone else. Get it? The standard of beauty is different because it’s what society tells us, not actually what we are. Thanks, Ariana, for making people think about your costume choice.

Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez may have been too busy to dress up this year — you know, because of her new singles and all — but she did share this cute TBT. The singer, who just released “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now — shared an adorable throwback of herself dressed as a cute spider queen. She captioned the picture by saying, “my mom really killed it on my costumes growing up… Happy Halloween!!”

Lin-Manuel Miranda
It got weird with two teens on the trick or treat trail pic.twitter.com/r9t9Avzo1t

Lin-Manuel Miranda got us scratching our heads a bit with his Halloween costume. At first glance, we thought he had two adjoining dinosaur heads next to me — as in attached to his phantom of the opera mask. Then we read his tweet, “It got weird with two teens on the trick or treat trail.” So we’re going to assume that Lin just got bombarded with two dino twins and leave it at that. The dinosaurs sure help his average phantom of the opera costume that’s for sure.

America Ferrera
Actress and activist, America Ferrera did share a cute picture of her and hubby taking her little boy trick or treating. She also, however, shared that she too got into the spirit of things by posting a picture of her in costume for a Halloween special on Superstore. She and co-star Justina Machado showed off their costumes. Ferrera went as the iconic Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Machado was a fiery cat. We love that Ferrera stuck to her activist roots and went as a fighter of justice.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is clearly tired of looking like a hunk because for Halloween this year he went as a scary-ass clown. And not just one clown, but two! It sure looks like he had a lot of fun though. The soccer star went around the office scaring folks and his futbol playmates too. Ronaldo should probably dress up as himself next year, which will have people fainting left and right.

WOW🤩😱 This Halloween I decided to RECREATE my 1st album cover from 22 YEARS AGO one of these pictures I took ONLY 3 DAYS AGO the other was 22 YEARS AGO CAN YALL TELL THE DIFFERENCE??👇🏾 pic.twitter.com/6BGrjjM78w
— Missy Elliott (@MissyElliott) October 28, 2019
Missy Elliott is having a stellar year. Not only was she awarded MTV’s Vanguard Award, but she released a brand new album too. So for Halloween, it’s fitting that Missy Elliott wanted to celebrate herself (because let’s be real who is better than Missy Elliott?). The rapper paid homage to herself by dressing up as herself 22 years ago on the cover of Supa Dupa Fly. “This Halloween I decided to RECREATE my 1st album cover from 22 YEARS AGO one of these pictures I took ONLY 3 DAYS AGO the other was 22 YEARS AGO CAN YALL TELL THE DIFFERENCE??” Um, no, we cannot. She doesn’t age!

Demi Lovato was busy all of Halloween week! The singer first dressed up as a Marie Antoinette-era beauty. “Halloween round 1… I told y’all I don’t play on Halloween!! It’s my time to shine. The glam team killed it.” They sure did. She then dressed up as Pennywise, the clown from Stephen King’s It — but the female version. She also put on an inflatable suit to match a red sports car. It was lit.

AOC
Back in the Bronx for our community Halloween & Harvest party! 👻🎃
Over 600 people in the neighborhood came together to dance, decorate pumpkins, & share treats. (I went as industrial policy heroine Rosie the Riveter ☺️)
Special thanks to @bronxboundbooks for coming through! pic.twitter.com/nMQjf3g3Hv
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) November 1, 2019
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez never stops working! She can also have fun and work for the people and last night is a great example of that. The New York lawmaker celebrated Halloween as the iconic Rosie the Riveter. “Back in the Bronx for our community Halloween & Harvest party! 👻🎃 Over 600 people in the neighborhood came together to dance, decorate pumpkins, & share treats. (I went as industrial policy heroine Rosie the Riveter).” We love her ambition!
Now we’re counting down the days until next year’s Halloween. Sigh.
