Let’s face it, a lot of high-end eyeshadow palettes are much better and easier to work with than drugstore ones. With so many choices at Sephora and Ulta, it can be hard to make a decision. These four luxury eyeshadow palettes come highly recommended and are worth their high price tags!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

This palette contains 14 different eyeshadow shades, all ranging from burnt reds to smokey neutrals. There is a great mix of matte, shimmery, and metallic shadows, making it the perfect palette for an all-in-one eye look. The formula is great – the shadows are super smooth and easy to blend, all while being crease and fade resistant. Not to mention, it is a pretty great value for 14 eyeshadows. At $42, that’s only $3 an eyeshadow. Not bad! Modern Renaissance Palette, Sephora, $42.

Urban Decay Naked Palette

I consider the Urban Decay Naked Palette to be one of the OG high-end eyeshadow palettes. After launching in summer of 2010, the Naked Palette is a great palette for beginners and makeup experts alike. The palette contains all the neutrals you need for a simple look or a dramatic night out eye. The shades all have great blendability, staying power, and pigmentation – so for $54 it can’t be beat! I’ve had mine since the original launch and I still use it to this day! Urban Decay Naked Palette, Sephora, $54.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar Palette contains 16 shadows that mainly consist of neutrals and browns, but also has some pops of color! I recommend this palette for those who travel a lot. Because of the protective metal tin packaging, the eyeshadows are sure to stay intact no matter where you’re going! The shades are super buttery and very blendable, which is great for a quick, on-the-go look that requires little effort. Also, the palette is formulated with actual cocoa powder and smells literally like chocolate – how amazing is that! Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, Sephora, $49.

Again, Urban Decay kills it with their eyeshadow palettes. If you’re the type of person who has no time for makeup but still wants to add a bit of drama or definition from time to time, the Naked Basics Palette is for you! The palette is super small and compact. It contains six matte neutral shades that are perfect for the workplace. This also is a great palette for constant travelers because of how compact it is! Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, Sephora, $29.
