Boy, oh boy! Kat Von D has just announced that she’s pregnant with her first baby and already has a name picked out! The beauty and tattoo mogul revealed the big news on her Instagram page. In the picture, Kat is seen holding her belly — alongside her new husband Rafael Reyes.
Reyes, who’s in the band Prayers, married Kat earlier this year. According to Reyes’s Instagram account, the couple already has picked out the name for their first baby.
“When I thought I had it all. Life gifts me with the greatest of joys!” Reyes said on IG. “We are pregnant and having a baby boy. I love you @thekatvond and I’m ready to be a father to our son Leafar. Thank you my love our family comes first!!!”
It’s unclear how far along the 36-year-old beauty star is, but the picture reveals she’s well into her pregnancy.
Weirdly enough, in an interview in 2012, Kat shared she didn’t want to have any children: “The funny thing is that I’ve known since I was 7 years old that I was never going to have kids,” she said. “I always imagined myself as this worldly, traveling, gypsy lady. I love children, kids love me, but I think I’d make a really good buddy. I don’t know if I’d be a bad mom, but it’s not what I want. I don’t want to put my body through it.”
What a difference a few years and the right partner makes, right?
