This year, on Thursday, November 14, the Latin GRAMMYs will be celebrating 20 years of recognizing and celebrating the best of the best in Latin music. That means two decades of memorable red carpet fashion, including some not-so-good style choices but also iconic style moments.

The Latin GRAMMYs have not only been a space for artists to celebrate the risks they take with music but also celebrate their personality and style with their fashion looks on the red carpet. In honor of the 20th Latin GRAMMYs, we wanted to take a trip down memory lane and compile an exhaustive list of 30 of the best Latin GRAMMYs red carpet looks ever. With stars like Jennifer Lopez,  Roselyn Sanchez, Chiquinquira Delgado, and Emeraude Toubia, who never seem to miss a beat being among the evening’s best dressed year after year, we’re ready to dive deep into the past 20 years of Latin GRAMMYs fashion.

Jennifer Lopez, 2000 Latin GRAMMYs

This first fashion win takes us back to 2000. Jennifer Lopez, who has gone on to practically own the red carpet in a wide array of stylish, iconic looks, wows in a blush-nude dress with crystal halter detail. This ensemble is a perfect example of her love of wearing warm, flesh tone-matching neutrals on the red carpet with enough glitz, glam, sex appeal, and detail to keep the look from falling flat.

Thalia, 2003 Latin GRAMMYs

In 2003, Thalia slinked onto the Latin GRAMMYs red carpet in a jaw-dropping, siren red gown with a gold chain halter. The ruching along the side nips her small waist in even more and brings out her curves. The timeless look is completed with strappy black sandals, a sleek ponytail, a few accessories, and a fresh and rosy, dewy face.

Roselyn Sanchez, 2006 Latin GRAMMYs

Roselyn Sanchez is a Latinx star who consistently shines on the red carpet, whether it’s in short and flirty dresses or long and flowing gowns. One particular look we wanted to highlight is this gleaming metallic look she wore for the 2006 Latin Grammys. The cool rectangle pattern and a mix of silver and gunmetal make this a truly unique dress.

Ilia Calderon, 2009 Latin GRAMMYs

Ilia Calderon’s look for the 2009 Latin GRAMMYs is nothing short of perfection. Her cinnamon/rust-hued gown drapes effortlessly over her shoulder, complemented by the perfect warm blush, chandelier earrings, and unexpected snakeskin clutch. The entire look is so elegant, yet so relaxed and flowy, with a rich color that is so gorgeous and unique to see on the red carpet.

Eva Longoria, 2009 Latin GRAMMYs

Eva Longoria knows how to dress her petite frame for the maximum wow factor. Just take this shimmering silver and gold strapless cocktail dress from Zuhair Murad’s 2010 Resort collection she wore to the 2009 Latin GRAMMYs. There is so much detail, shine, and texture, but the bodycon silhouette and shorter length guarantee the look doesn’t overpower her.

Adrienne Bailon, 2011 Latin GRAMMYs

It’s often difficult to stand out among the sea of similar gowns on a red carpet. You want to look different, without looking ridiculous. Adrienne Bailon knocked it out of the park with this unique, houndstooth print, silver and black, backless dress with side cutouts. She wore the one-shouldered look to the 2011 Latin GRAMMYs.

Demi Lovato, 2011 Latin GRAMMYs

The key to great style is to find out what works the best on you — silhouettes, styles, colors — and be faithful to that, while also having fun. Demi Lovato, as you can see in this photo, can rock a plunging neckline, on a long-sleeved gown, with a defined waistline, and a pop of warm color.

Lourdes Stephan, 2013 Latin GRAMMYs

Journalist and TV host Lourdes Stephen turned up the glam for the 2013 Latin Grammys by opting for a color many reach for come award season — glorious gold. She shined in an elegant stand-collar gown that had concentrated gold details that faded out into a gold tulle bottom. A thin gold belt and fun Eiffel tower clutch completed the sleek look.

Gabriella Isler, 2013 Latin GRAMMYs

Gabriella Isler was the reigning Miss Universe when she wore this classic yet glam sparkling navy gown to the 2013 Latin GRAMMYs. While we wish the illusion netting was a tad darker to match her skin tone perfectly, this gown was a triumphant look for the evening — and Latin GRAMMYs red carpet history.

Genesis Rodriguez, 2013 Latin GRAMMYs

Genesis Rodriguez is another Latinx celeb who more often than not slays it on the red carpet. She keeps the looks relatively simple, yet striking, allowing her to wear the dress and not the other way around. One fabulous gown was the white dress she wore to the 2013 Latin GRAMMYs. It was sleek, showed a sexy amount of skin, and was simply stunning.

Aleyda Ortiz, 2014 Latin GRAMMYs

At the 2015 Latin GRAMMYs, Aleyda Ortiz, winner of Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2014, arrived looking every bit the flawless, modern beauty queen. Her cool black gown featured illusion netting, supporting cut-outs that made her waist look super tiny, and gave the impression that the dress was floating on, or molded to her body.

Chiquinquira Delgado, 2014 Latin GRAMMYs

It is absolutely no surprise that Chiquinquira Delgado is on this list of best Latin GRAMMYs red carpet moments several times. She knows what works for her the best and dresses accordingly. Delgado also knows how to include that wow factor to each look she’s wearing, like the sunny pop of yellow paired with turquoise earrings she donned for the 2014 Latin GRAMMYs.

Eiza Gonzalez, 2014 Latin GRAMMYs

Eiza Gonzalez, who has red carpet posing down to a science, had a fairy tale fashion moment at the 2014 Latin GRAMMYs. Her sparkling gold and white gown ended up plastered all over the place online as a notable, best-dressed look for the evening.

Emeraude Toubia, 2015 Latin GRAMMYs

Emeraude Toubia, actress, model, and spouse of Prince Royce is such a breath of fresh fashion air on the red carpet. Her looks are almost always different, striking, fashionable, and flawless. One look we love is her 2015 Latin GRAMMYs gown. It’s dazzling, skims the figure, and is elegant, instead of showing everything, as other red carpet gowns are now known to do.

Emeraude dresses so nice, she made this list twice (although there were other looks that would easily make this list as well). This beautiful gown is from the 2016 Latin GRAMMYs, and with the strapless bodice, tea length, volume, and feminine floral embroidery, it is giving off major 1950s throwback vibes. Red lips and side-swept hair complete the Old Hollywood-inspired look.

Alejandra Espinoza, 2016 Latin GRAMMYs

2007 Nuestra Belleza winner Alejandra Espinoza knows how to take her beauty queen poise to the red carpet, and dazzle with stunning evening gown after stunning evening gown. For the 2016 Latin GRAMMYs, she wore the most gorgeous almost Art Deco/Art Nouveau-esque patterned dress, in a golden hue that complimented her skin tone perfectly.

Jennifer Lopez, 2016 Latin GRAMMYs

Jennifer Lopez is a huge fan of designer Zuhair Murad, often opting to wear his exquisitely beaded, embroidered, and intricately patterned dresses on the red carpet. She also is known to rock one of his flawless jumpsuits, like this sexy yet chic, dark plum creation that she stole the show in for the 2016 Latin GRAMMYs. As Zuhair is known to do, he created a garment that shows plenty of skin but is elevated.

Debi Nova 2017 Latin GRAMMYs

Debi Novas’ for the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs dress was exquisite. There was so much intricate detail involved, but the simple column silhouette, and subdued hair and makeup, and absence of accessories kept the look from becoming overload.

Roselyn Sanchez, 2017 Latin GRAMMYs

Another red carpet-winning look is this striking gown worn by Roselyn Sanchez at the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs. The strategic cutouts nip in her waist and give the right amount of drama to a sleek, black, one-shouldered dress. The equally sleek hair and starburst earrings offer the perfect finishing touch to this Hollywood star look.

Chiquinquira Delgado, 2017 Latin GRAMMYs

Working with sheer, nude-colored fabric, sparkly embellishments, and a bodycon silhouette can be a tricky balancing act. You want to look stylish and sexy, without showing too much. Chiquinquira Delgado’s Yousef Al Jasmi gown, which she wore to the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs, strikes this balance perfectly.

Ana de Armas, 2017 Latin GRAMMYs

The Latin GRAMMYs, as does the GRAMMYs, allows for funkier, less dressy looks. Ana de Armas’ fun and flirty short dress was a nice change-up from the parade of floor-length gowns at the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs. It reads young, fashionable, and different.

Paulina Galindo, 2017 Latin GRAMMYs

Although we have seen a ton of fitted dresses on red carpets lately with sparkly, geometric designs, this one was effortless, while still being glam, so why not? Paula Galindo sparkled on the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs red carpet and kept the look from being too severe by sporting soft waves.

Sara Uribe, 2017 Latin GRAMMYs

This Jorge Duque dress, worn by Sara Uribe at the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs, had a fun detail that made it stand apart from other strapless white dresses from red carpets past. The rest of the dress is sleek and simple, keeping the look from veering into ice skater territory. It’s bold and unique done well!

Iza, 2018 Latin GRAMMYs

Every red carpet needs a cheery dose of color. Iza’s Apartamento 03 dress (look styled by Bianca Jahara) was elegance with a touch of fun. Just what we want to see on the 2018 Latin GRAMMYs red carpet and beyond.

Thalia, 2018 Latin GRAMMYs

Thalia looked every bit the star in this playful, sheer Labourjoisie gown, at the 2018 Latin GRAMMYs. The subdued hair and glam earrings were the perfect finishing touch.

Gloria “Goyo” Martinez, 2018 Latin GRAMMYs

This is the kind of dress you wear when you want to make a statement. Gloria “Goyo” Martinez looked glorious in this striking red-orange Michael Costello dress, which made her one of our top picks for best dressed at the 2018 Latin GRAMMYs.

Ariadna Guttierez, 2018 Latin GRAMMYs

We’ve come to expect the glitzy, sheer, bodycon dresses that have been favored on the red carpet for the last few years. Ariadna Gutierrez’s 2018 Latin GRAMMYs dress did not disappoint and the rich blue color was something unexpected.

Alejandra Espinoza, 2018 Latin GRAMMYs

Alejandra Espinoza looked amazing in this gown, designed by Michael Cinco, with butterflies that were hand-painted throughout the fabric. Her hair dressed up the look and made her look more youthful. It was one of our choices for best dressed at the 2018 Latin GRAMMYs.

Laura Pausini, 2018 Latin GRAMMYs

Laura Pausini is known to wear black ensembles on the red carpet. This Armani Prive Haute Couture dress, which she wore for the 2018 Latin GRAMMYs, was classic and elegant, yet had a touch of glam with the metallic rope trim.

Chiquinquira Delgado, 2018 Latin GRAMMYs

Chiquinquira Delgado served drama on the Latin GRAMMYs red carpet last year. The partially sheer bustier added instant sex appeal, while the full skirt balanced it with elegance.
