This year, on Thursday, November 14, the Latin GRAMMYs will be celebrating 20 years of recognizing and celebrating the best of the best in Latin music. That means two decades of memorable red carpet fashion, including some not-so-good style choices but also iconic style moments.

The Latin GRAMMYs have not only been a space for artists to celebrate the risks they take with music but also celebrate their personality and style with their fashion looks on the red carpet. In honor of the 20th Latin GRAMMYs, we wanted to take a trip down memory lane and compile an exhaustive list of 30 of the best Latin GRAMMYs red carpet looks ever. With stars like Jennifer Lopez,  Roselyn Sanchez, Chiquinquira Delgado, and Emeraude Toubia, who never seem to miss a beat being among the evening’s best dressed year after year, we’re ready to dive deep into the past 20 years of Latin GRAMMYs fashion.

Jennifer Lopez, 2000 Latin GRAMMYs

This first fashion win takes us back to 2000. Jennifer Lopez, who has gone on to practically own the red carpet in a wide array of stylish, iconic looks, wows in a blush-nude dress with crystal halter detail. This ensemble is a perfect example of her love of wearing warm, flesh tone-matching neutrals on the red carpet with enough glitz, glam, sex appeal, and detail to keep the look from falling flat.

Thalia, 2003 Latin GRAMMYs

In 2003, Thalia slinked onto the Latin GRAMMYs red carpet in a jaw-dropping, siren red gown with a gold chain halter. The ruching along the side nips her small waist in even more and brings out her curves. The timeless look is completed with strappy black sandals, a sleek ponytail, a few accessories, and a fresh and rosy, dewy face.

Roselyn Sanchez, 2006 Latin GRAMMYs

Roselyn Sanchez is a Latinx star who consistently shines on the red carpet, whether it’s in short and flirty dresses or long and flowing gowns. One particular look we wanted to highlight is this gleaming metallic look she wore for the 2006 Latin Grammys. The cool rectangle pattern and a mix of silver and gunmetal make this a truly unique dress.

Ilia Calderon’s look for the 2009 Latin GRAMMYs is nothing short of perfection. Her cinnamon/rust-hued gown drapes effortlessly over her shoulder, complemented by the perfect warm blush, chandelier earrings, and unexpected snakeskin clutch. The entire look is so elegant, yet so relaxed and flowy, with a rich color that is so gorgeous and unique to see on the red carpet.

Eva Longoria, 2009 Latin GRAMMYs

Eva Longoria knows how to dress her petite frame for the maximum wow factor. Just take this shimmering silver and gold strapless cocktail dress from Zuhair Murad’s 2010 Resort collection she wore to the 2009 Latin GRAMMYs. There is so much detail, shine, and texture, but the bodycon silhouette and shorter length guarantee the look doesn’t overpower her.

Adrienne Bailon, 2011 Latin GRAMMYs

It’s often difficult to stand out among the sea of similar gowns on a red carpet. You want to look different, without looking ridiculous. Adrienne Bailon knocked it out of the park with this unique, houndstooth print, silver and black, backless dress with side cutouts. She wore the one-shouldered look to the 2011 Latin GRAMMYs.

Demi Lovato, 2011 Latin GRAMMYs

The key to great style is to find out what works the best on you — silhouettes, styles, colors — and be faithful to that, while also having fun. Demi Lovato, as you can see in this photo, can rock a plunging neckline, on a long-sleeved gown, with a defined waistline, and a pop of warm color.

Journalist and TV host Lourdes Stephen turned up the glam for the 2013 Latin Grammys by opting for a color many reach for come award season — glorious gold. Gabriella Isler was the reigning Miss Universe when she wore this classic yet glam sparkling navy gown to the 2013 Latin GRAMMYs. Genesis Rodriguez is another Latinx celeb who more often than not slays it on the red carpet. Emeraude Toubia, actress, model, and spouse of Prince Royce is such a breath of fresh fashion air on the red carpet. Her looks are almost always different, striking, fashionable, and flawless. Emeraude dresses so nice, she made this list twice (although there were other looks that would easily make this list as well). This beautiful gown is from the 2016 Latin GRAMMYs, and with the strapless bodice, tea length, volume, and feminine floral embroidery, it is giving off major 1950s throwback vibes. Red lips and side-swept hair complete the Old Hollywood-inspired look.

Working with sheer, nude-colored fabric, sparkly embellishments, and a bodycon silhouette can be a tricky balancing act. You want to look stylish and sexy, without showing too much. The Latin GRAMMYs, as does the GRAMMYs, allows for funkier, less dressy looks. Ana de Armas’ fun and flirty short dress was a nice change-up from the parade of floor-length gowns at the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs. It reads young, fashionable, and different.

Paulina Galindo, 2017 Latin GRAMMYs

Although we have seen a ton of fitted dresses on red carpets lately with sparkly, geometric designs, this one was effortless, while still being glam, so why not? Paula Galindo sparkled on the 2017 Latin GRAMMYs red carpet and kept the look from being too severe by sporting soft waves.
