If possible, get to Bert Ogden Arena in EdinburgTexas ASAP! Tonight Congressman Beto O’Rourke will be hosting a rally as he continues the last leg of his campaign tour as he and Sen. Ted Cruz go head-to-head in this year’s midterm elections. But O’Rourke isn’t the only reason you should get to Edinburg. Legendary Mexican group Los Tigres del Norte will also be there performing, and did we mention it is free?! Because it is!

The fact that Los Tigres del Norte is performing for at a Beto O’Rourke rally speaks volumes to the pull that the Congressman has with Latino voters. As it’s been very clear, O’Rourke has a charming allure and speaks Spanish fluently, which has worked for him. CNN reports that O’Rourke has 62 percent of Latino support, while Cruz has 35 percent. But that’s still not enough to win Texas.

David Wasserman, a congressional analyst with the non-partisan Cook Political Report, told Reuters that O’Rourke “needs backing from at least two thirds of Hispanics to have any chance of beating Cruz.”

O’Rourke’s campaign is trying hard for that win. They’ve raised more than “$38 million between July and September, the biggest quarterly haul of any U.S. Senate candidate in history,” however, other polls shows that the two candidates are basically even in the race. If O’Rourke wins, he will be the first democrat to win a statewide race in Texas since 1994. We think it’s certainly possible and perhaps Los Tigres del Norte can get him over the finish line.

People on social media are very excited that these two powerhouses will be sharing the stage tonight.
