As we pursed Instagram, per our morning ritual, the most perfect espadrilles caught our attention. Vogue’s IG highlighted Soludos shoes in honor of the magazine’s 125th anniversary. At least one pair of Soludos is a limited-edition collection of rose espadrilles created for their big birthday.
One click to the Soludos website and we were hooked! They feature an assortment of beautiful footwear that is perfect for the summer.
This New York-based company was founded by Nick Brown in 2010. He created this specialty shoe line because he “was unable to find the traditional rope soled espadrilles he had grown up wearing on holiday along the Spanish Coast.” The name of the company comes from the Spanish combination of cheers and sun, so “salud” and “sol” became “Soludos” which is also a formal greeting.
