The first full week into 2020 brings with it some very exciting new opportunities! And when opportunity knocks, you better answer. All you have to do is is follow through to take advantage of what comes your way this week. A chance reveals itself for growth in career and finances. I’m seeing that you can finally get over that hill you’ve been struggling to climb. If you have found yourself perpetually getting stuck in the same place, it’s time to finally reach the other side. You will have to wait for another alignment such as this in order to get to that point again. Don’t waste this rare window — put your butt into gear and do it now! Don’t psyche yourself out by overthinking or taking time to contemplate the pros and cons. This is straight-up, PRO. Create security for the future and plant the seeds for your long-term goals. Your future will thank you for it!

Your Card: Page of Cups

You are taking quite a calm approach to a situation. I see something blocking your view from seeing the full spectrum of detail here. Whether you are aware of this or not, something is making you very weary to take any next steps, at least for the time being. I’m hearing this could be a little bit of grass is greener syndrome, but for some of you, it is more that you just really don’t know how to treat what you have in front of you now. Is it a blessing? Is it a curse? Is it something you need vs. just something you want? There are many questions to be answered in your mind. It makes you happy or provides some kind of solace for you to hold this as an option, even if it is not completely yours. Perhaps, it comes down to the fact that you are simply afraid if you make a wrong move that you will lose it altogether. I’m hearing to advise you to make your move while you still have the chance, Cap.

Your Card: King of Wands

You’ve done it Aquarius! But now, you wait. You might even be second-guessing, but deep down you know you made the best decision. Or did you? I see that you’re trying very hard to portray confidence in something you’ve done recently. Whether it was a big decision, purchase, or project — you were the final say and you thought you made the right call at the time. Others could be influencing you now, even if you aren’t consciously aware of it. Influence can come from a passing remark, or a simple facial expression you caught out of the corner of your eye. “Lions don’t concern themselves with the opinions of sheep.” Stand behind your commitment because there is a good reason you made it. I’m not hearing that it will be easily changeable, but rather that you must accept what’s done is done. Believe that you have the wherewithal to take on any challenge that may arise subsequently if any in fact do at all.

“Who gon’ check me boo?” It looks like you need a reality check, Pisces. And one may just be coming your way. Your hater blockers can’t save you now. Someone feels the need to take you down a peg for your recent arrogance and reckless behavior. I have to be honest with you Pisces, they’re not wrong. It is great to be feeling yourself and have confidence, but it’s not great when it is at the expense of others. Don’t make yourself small, just be mindful of the consequences of your actions, especially regarding how they affect others. It could come back to bite you and hard, so take this little nip as a gentle warning and blessing in disguise. This could have snowballed into something much bigger and more detrimental than you would have anticipated.

You are about to get privy to some new and particularly intriguing information, Aries. This is so spicy — so good — yet it might also be better left unsaid. I’m hearing that you are going to have a very tough time keeping this juicy secret to yourself. If you spill the beans, it could cause a major rift between you and someone special. For others, it could cause a split between two people who are more closely connected to the situation. You feel like you have the power here, and in a sense, you do. But, “With great power comes great responsibility.” Some of you could see this as an opportunity for revenge or a way to manipulate a situation to your benefit. If you choose to use your powers for evil instead of good, it does have the potential to backfire in a major way. You play a bigger role in this scenario than you realize.

Your Card: The Moon

An unresolved or difficult issue is being brought back to the surface. Initially, this will feel unpleasant, but the purpose is really to smooth this out once and for all so you can move forward. I’m seeing a lot of emotion, depth, and some previous confusion. Clearing the air is the big theme right now. Put it all out there and just see what happens. It can only improve or, not. There’s no loss in this situation, because you’ve already lost all you could at this point. I’m hearing the song “Radioactive,” by Imagine Dragons. That might have some meaning for some of you, and the lyrics could be telling for others. This is kind of a do or die situation, where you either bury the hatchet now, or it just becomes a part of your history. Closure can be healing, but it isn’t always necessary to confront someone to achieve that either. Figure out what the healthiest route is for you in this situation, then take it. I don’t see any regrets if you decide to purge your feelings (they must be acknowledged) then leave it behind for good.

“Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match!” It’s almost as if you are the love guru this week. You’re bringing people together into relationships, whether it be platonic, romantic, or other. You have that special sauce that knows how to talk up each person so that the other is interested. I am hearing that you might even be hooking up your friends with more than one suitor. That can be a dangerous game, but you do love a little drama in your life, Gem. A little mischief will add some personal fun, but try not to get too carried away with your newfound abilities. I see you working with fire (aries, leo, sagittarius) and earth (capricorn, taurus, virgo) signs in some capacity. There is something that keeps them from fully uniting, but you have the power to be the link that connects them.

Every phase of life, every step forward, even if you are progressing in other ways — this one issue remains securely embedded within you. It is making your journey a bit heavier and more difficult. The fact that it is something so easy to miss and that can easily be overlooked, makes it all the more threatening for you. You can go through your whole life never reaching your full potential, at least in part, because of this. I encourage you to have a long, honest chat with yourself about the things you may have suppressed both long ago, and more recently. You must find a way to remedy past pain, regrets, and/or guilt you harbor.

Your Card: 7 of Pentacles

If you put in minimal effort, do not expect maximum results, Virgo. You can’t presume all the work will be done for you without ongoing guidance or direction. And if you do, you can’t anticipate that it will be done the way you would do it. If you want to play supervisor, you have to actually supervise. Get hands-on, or be prepared to accept whatever it is you are given when the results come in. I’m hearing the outcome will not be up to your standards, and therefore, not to your liking. Don’t be afraid to dive in and get your hands dirty. You will be much more content with development and the final results. It is a collaborative effort here, but if you don’t do your part, no one else is going to do theirs either. Take initiative and be a leader.

It is as if someone has come in just to rain on your parade and poo-poo your party, Libra. That isn’t what they’re really here to do. They genuinely want to make improvements, but it is sometimes difficult to swallow criticism when you’ve worked so hard on whatever is being ripped apart. Don’t take it personally now, and try not to harbor any resentments. This is not personal at all. This is a person you might even want to go out of your way to be nice to. Bonus brownie points, if you personally take them to the side and ask them how you can improve. They might be used to people cowering to them and not really treating them like a normal person. It doesn’t mean they like it. You don’t have to be best friends, but you could find it turns out quite beneficial if you make it a point to be friendly.

You are keeping yourself stuck and you know you can get out of this situation or mindset, but keep choosing not to. You are comfortable in this type of misery because you have chosen to stay here for so long. But if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got.
