Theme of the Month: The Star

Our running theme for the month of April is The Star. Many of us are holding on to our hopes, dreams, and visions for the future right now. Many are wondering where our current circumstances will land us, but we must remember that we create our own realities. While there may be situations out of our control, it is in the way we respond and react to our conditions that help mold our individual outcomes. This is a time for thinking outside the box. If you’ve been stuck running in place, this is when you break the cycle. Conversely, for those of us who have had a difficult time creating a routine in our day-to-day lives, this is a time when you develop structure. Each one of us has a different battle to overcome, but we have been given the gift of time to pause, reflect, and encourage ourselves to evolve in the gentlest way possible.

Aries

Your Card: The Empress

Speaking of growth and evolution, this is a crucial time for you to do just that, Aries. Gone are the days where you make excuses for yourself and your mistakes. For those things that you’ve willingly turned a blind eye to. Maturity is blooming within you. This is in regards to a specific area of your life, for most of you. While your heart may be widening, your tolerance is diminishing. You are finding yourself less and less able to accept what you view as below standard behavior. For some of you, this may be an increase in the expectations you set for yourself. For others, this may be an increase in your expectations of others. If it is the latter, be prepared to be let down. There is a saying, “Expectation is the root of all disappointment.” Do not confuse this for believing that you aren’t deserving. The message for you in this card is quite the opposite. But, not everyone grows at the same pace. This is extremely significant to keep in mind now. Recognize when you’ve outgrown something so you don’t stifle your own development.

Your Card: The Magician

I am seeing many of you Taurus’s cooking up schemes to make more money now. The good news is you have the ingredients and you have the know-how, all that is left to do is figure out the recipe. Approach this as if you were cooking something from scratch for the first time. You’re going to have to sprinkle in a few different ingredients to see what works and what doesn’t. You’ll probably have to make a few batches before you have figured out the right measurements and created the perfect balance of flavors. In regards to creating the electric light bulb, Thomas Edison said, “I have not failed. I just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Let him be your inspiration and motivation now. Apply this to your perspective and you will eventually find what you’re looking for. The perfect combination is right under your nose, you are just going to need to be a little extra creative to figure it out. If you believe that you will get there, you will.

Your Card: 7 of Swords

You left and went where you thought it best to go Gemini. Although you may not necessarily regret this, I’m seeing you feel like you wish you could have brought something else with you. But you knew what you were leaving behind. There are definitely benefits to the choices that you’ve made. And in your head, I am seeing you reiterate your reasoning for why you made those decisions. When those moments of self-doubt or longing come up, it’s as if you are working through negotiation in your own mind, in order to reassure yourself. Commit to you what you’ve already done. You can’t change it now, so the best thing for you to do is to agree with your past self. Otherwise, you’re only going to stress yourself out and create demons in the form of “Woulda’, coulda’, shoulda’.” It is time to stop peering backward, about-face, and move forward with 100% confidence and certainty.

Cancer, you are done wondering, thinking, daydreaming, and you are finally doing. This is not a leap of faith, but rather a strategic step in a decided direction. A lot of thought and planning has gone into the journey laid out before you. Not only by you but by the universe. This is a conspired collaboration between the two to get you here and position you firmly on the path in which you are now walking. Creativity will play a heavy hand in where you go from here. Let yourself be led by inspiration and exuberance rather than practicality or emotional attachment. Leave behind what no longer serves you and only proceed with what does. With each stride, the way before you will become clearer. Follow the signs, your intuition, and most importantly, your passion.

Your Card: The Sun

You are finally about to step out into the light, where you’re supposed to be, Leo. You’ve been so focused on helping others shine their brightest for so long that you have cast aside your own sunshine in the process. This is your chance to give yourself some due diligence. Don’t be afraid or ashamed to let people see you in all your glory. To expose just how beautiful you really are from the inside-out rather than trying to express this from a surface level, maintaining a safe emotional distance. You may be pleasantly surprised at the caliber of people that your true, innate beauty attracts. It’s going to be a process for you, so take it little by little. Experiment by throwing small pieces of your deep-self out into the public, or to individuals you normally would not, and observe the reactions you receive. As you do, you will become more comfortable and confident. You will realize some of your deepest fears, even, may be unwarranted. This month has the potential to be a significant growth period for your own self-esteem and self-worth.

Family bonding is going to be particularly important for you this month, Virgo. Some say friends are the family you choose. So whether these are close friends or your blood, it is essential that you take the time to nurture these relationships now. The moments that you have with these people are the ones that make life worthwhile. Show them how much you love them and what they mean to you. This does not have to be a grand gesture, by any means. This could be simply reaching out with a phone call or sending an effortless text. The love and intent behind your actions are all that matters. I’m hearing, for some of you, that there is a message waiting via someone from your past – perhaps a childhood friend or loved one with whom you haven’t spoken to in a while. Reach out. They will be glad to hear from you. The sending and receiving messages of love this month is going to positively impact your future in many unexpected ways.

Your Card: 8 of Wands

“He’s making a list, checking it twice…” It may not be the holidays, Libra, but you’ll need to heed Santa’s work ethic this month. Turn those notifications on. You can always get rid of them later if they become a nuisance. But I’m seeing a high chance for missed messages, voicemails, emails, etc. – double-check them all if you were expecting any type of news. You don’t want to inadvertently miss any important communications now. If you do you see that you missed something, reply as quickly as possible. This isn’t anything that can’t be fixed, but you may end up needing to do some damage control. This kind of extra work is exactly what we are trying to avoid. The longer you wait, the more difficult it could be to get back in touch. I’m seeing, for some of you, that this may be a matter you thought was resolved (in your favor) only to find that there is more to be done before it is finalized. In order to keep this in your favor, you must act fast.

Your Card: The Tower

I wish I could tell you to prepare yourself, Scorpio. But it is too late. You are about to feel like you’ve entered The Twilight Zone. Some of you already feel like you’re in it. But for others, it looks like it’s really just starting to hit you now. The reality is, the fall is the scariest part. There is a kind of reprieve in hitting the bottom and knowing that the transition period is over. But you are in the midst of your transition, now. That’s why things may seem so chaotic and out of control for you. Right now, your main priority needs to be relinquishing control. You must learn to release during times like this and let the chips fall where they may. Once you regain your bearings and have the opportunity to get a grip on where are you are, then you can start to rebuild. The beauty in this is that, if you do, moving forward you have the freedom and privilege to reconstruct so much bigger and better than what you had in place previously.

Your Card: 9 of Swords

Off the bat, Sag, I’m hearing the song “Lucid Dreams” by Juice WRLD. This isn’t for all, but there is a group of you who really can’t get someone out of your head. I’m hearing that one reason for this is simply having too much time on your hands. At the same token, you are being forced to come face to face with ideas and realizations that you have long ignored or pushed away. The time has come for you to deal with these things and sort through them, as well as anything that may be associated. Then, you will finally know how to approach and take care of them in real life. Once you do, you can work on moving into the next chapter. You will likely have to go a bit deeper before you can rise back to the surface and catch your breath. Do not fear diving into the depths. This will bring about a more complete understanding of not only yourself but enlightenment in many other aspects.

You have an abundance of power in your hands right now, Cap. it is all about what you do with it from here. You can nurture and grow it, feeding it with your inspiration and passion. Take note of those who you admire and begin doing some research on them. Learn about their history, their habits, and processes. You don’t necessarily need to implement or take on their habits and views as your own, it is only important that you expose yourself to the knowledge and what they have to say. This will enhance your own thought processes and can be a source of expansion and inspiration for you. Keep what resonates. Seek to build on that and make it your own. This is where you’ll find the guidance that you seek. You are already fully capable, but this will give you the extra tools that you need.

I am seeing you stuck in a web right now, Pisces, and you can’t move an inch. There are some of you who may have told what seemed like a harmless fib that has grown and spiraled out of control. Others of you, I’m hearing may be stuck in some type of mental relationship drama. But no matter your circumstance, the one thing all of you have in common right now is that you have gotten yourself into a sticky situation. You may want to blame this on other people, but you need to take responsibility for your part. If you don’t recognize the role you play in this situation, you will never resolve a graceful way out of it. There is still hope. But you will need to play your cards very wisely. Take your time. Do not act on your first inclination. This month, take a moment to think everything through before you do it. You’ll be straddling the line between victory and defeat, and how much thought you put behind your actions will be the determining factor.
