Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson: Why Do We Always Hate the Women?

Tristan Thompson basically personifies the popular Internet #menaretrash hashtag. Yet, for some reason, people seem to be having a field day dumping on Khloe Kardashian, who just today gave birth to the couple’s first child after years of struggling with infertility and marital drama with her ex Lamar Odom.

Look, I’m not a Khloe Kardashian (or any Kardashian) fan. I agree that she has made some dodgy decisions when it comes to her romantic life. But I’m also a grown ass woman and know that you can never really fully understand what is going on in someone else’s relationship. I get it, she started dating Thompson knowing full well that his ex-girlfriend (lifestyle blogger Jordy Craig) was five months pregnant with his baby. Should that have raised red flags? Hells to the yeah, but the heart wants what it wants and supposedly, Kardashian didn’t “steal him” away because his relationship with his pregnant ex was already over. Who knows whether or not that is true.

You know what we should all be able to agree on though? Thompson is a flaming garbage dump of a man who goes from woman to woman, having unprotected sex and feeling no regard at all for the sexual or emotional health for those with whom he is supposed to be in a committed relationship.

He got caught red-handed by the paparazzi hanging out with a young woman who works in a strip joint just days before his current partner was set to give birth and as soon as that news broke, other videos flooded social media of him making out with and “motor-boating” two other random women in a bar in Washington D.C. Clearly this man has no character and no conscious and no intentions of ever treating any romantic partner he is involved with even a modicum of respect. He knew full well that there was a possibility he would get caught by paparazzi, especially given the fact that he is currently dating a woman who just happens to be part of one of the most famous families on the planet. That’s why in the footage of him from this weekend you can see him looking around like a little weasel for cameras and that’s why he brought his weekend fling to the SOHO house, a private, members only club where they have a very strict cell phone policy (as in, no pictures). But there was no way he was going to spend a weekend with his sidepiece in one of the most paparazzi populated cities in the world and not get caught out and that’s exactly what happened.

We need to STOP BLAMING WOMEN in these circumstances. It’s not Khloe Kardashian’s fault, or Jordan Craig’s fault, or even Lani Blair’s (Thompson’s latest fling) fault. He’s a grown ass man capable of making grown ass decision and he’s made them time and time again. Us women just need to really start paying attention and believing men when they show us exactly who they are, especially when it’s repeated behavior like Thompson has displayed. At least the Cav’s fans had the right idea when they booed him as he came off the bench to play in a home game against the NY Knicks last night.

Thankfully, Kardashian was pretty much full term with her baby, but rumors started circulating early yesterday that she went into slightly early labor with their baby girl due to stress. And just today, reports broke that she did indeed give birth to a healthy baby girl. So, Thompson’s actions definitely had consequences. Let’s just hope that his latest baby mama does what’s right for herself and her baby girl and packs her bags to head back to her family who can actually take care of her and protect her like her man is so obviously unwilling to do.
