Republican pundit, Ana Navarro recently married 71-year-old former Florida Republican Party and American Conservative Union Chairman Al Cardenas. While we may disagree with some of Navarro’s political views, we’ve definitely seen a more relatable side to her since Donald Trump got elected president. She’s not one to hold back when it comes to Trump (or CNN’s Chris Cuomo for that matter).
The Nicaraguan-born TV personality had her dream wedding in Miami over the weekend all of her famous friends and family joined in the festivities.
“Somebody said to me last night, ‘I’m not sure where else I could be dancing next to @gloriaestefan, @evalongoria, Isaiah Thomas and @mittromney while @willychirino sings the ‘Guantanamera’ other than your wedding,” Navarro wrote on Instagram. “Yup. That happened. And it happened, not because they are celebrities, or famous, but because they are close friends. And it touched us so much that very busy friends and relatives flew from all over the country and world to be with us for this very special moment. #navarrocardenasatlast.” We love her hashtag!
“One of the most special moments for a daughter is having her dad walk her down the aisle,” she said. “I’m blessed to have mine around and was able to experience that last night. And of course, we walked out to ‘Guantanamera.'” What a Latin dream!
“The View” co-star gushed to People magazine about her new husband and why she fell in love with him. She said “[he] treats me like a princess, he treats me with so much love and respect… He likes to stroke my hair and tell me I’m beautiful. I like everything about him.” That is true love!
So back to the celebs. Eva Longoria was there, Gloria Estefan and her husband were there, her CNN colleagues were there, and a ton of Latino TV personalities such as Raúl De Molina from El Gordo Y La Flaca.
We still cannot get over the fabulous decor, cake, and overall inspiration that Navarro envisioned and brought to life.
