Summer is here and curly hair brands have launched new products that will keep everything on point. From silky treatments to green juice for your hair, these products made my hair feel just as good as they sound. Reinvigorate your routine with one (or a few) of these picks:

1. Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Protein-Strong Treatment ($11, Ulta)

Protein treatments that don’t make your hair feel stiff are hard to come by, but Shea Moisture really hit it out of the park for me with this product. The manuka honey really did the trick and balanced this product out. It is my current go-to for strengthening my bleached hair from the added damaging effects of chlorine and saltwater this season.

2. Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind Matcha + Apple Replenishing Superfood Shampoo ($28, Sephora)

This green juice-inspired shampoo smells like an insanely delicious apple that you will be tempted to drink. It created a rich lather that left my scalp feeling thoroughly cleansed without overly stripping my strands of its oils. What’s not to love? The Kale + Apple Replenishing Superfood Conditioner was another winner that helped make detangling my hair a breeze.

3. Curls Cashmere & Caviar Hair Silk- Leave In Conditioner/Detangler ($15, Target)

This leave-in conditioner feels as luxurious as the name of this new line of products from Curls. I thoroughly enjoyed the activated charcoal shampoo and hair mask but the leave-in was the star of the show. I felt it instantly soften and begin detangling my hair as soon as I applied it. The product felt rich and moisturizing, which is what my hair needs during this time of year.

The brand’s Leave-In Decadence line is a go-to for my thirsty hair. I was super excited that they added a leave-in conditioner to the rotation. After trying it I feel like this is perfect for people who are looking for something lightweight. The Curls leave-in conditioner was thicker in comparison.

5. Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Gel Stronger Hold ($26, Ulta)

Ouidad launched a stronger version of their fan-favorite hair gel that is made to help minimize frizz in hot and humid weather. I noticed that my hair was significantly less puffy when I used it, which was the look I was going for. It left a crunchy feeling when it dried but I broke the cast by scrunching my hair to give it a softer feeling. The gel also added definition to my heat-damaged sections, which was a plus
