By now you should know that it’s extremely important to vote in tomorrow’s midterm elections. Whether you’re a democrat or republican or an independent, voting tomorrow is the main thing you should be doing. But, if for whatever reason you still don’t plan on voting tomorrow, perhaps this will inspire you.

America Ferrera, Eva Longoria, Gina Rodriguez, Rosario Dawson and Zoe Saldana all gathered in Florida over the weekend to encourage people to vote. The event called Latinas en Marcha was one of the most amazing moments of Latina unity and Latina empowerment that we desperately need right now.

“Latinas en Marcha is an unprecedented convening of Latinas—immigrant, queer, transgender, indigenous and afro-latinas,” the event page stated. “We are determined to change Florida and our national politics and we know that it is women who will lead that change. Join New Florida Majority, Florida Immigrant Coalition and the Miami Workers Center for an experience in civic engagement, culture, music and sisterhood.”

But this video of Gina dancing on stage is everything. First watch, then rewatch, then soak it in, then watch again so we can discuss.

That’s not the only time she was shaking her booty. Here she is again…

And again…

And one more time for the people in the back…

We love her enthusiasm to vote sooooo much! It’s beyond words really. They are not only proving how important it is to use your voice by voting, but they are talking about the issues that affect all of us daily. These women have been actively putting the word out about voting, about the candidates that will help the Latinx community, and that’s the support we really need.
