Fall is officially here! With it, comes a bunch of cool trends you’ll want to partake in that will carry on into winter. While you may not want to try out all of autumn’s latest and greatest styles, you definitely want to be in the fashion loop, and get your faves!

Baggy Grandpa Jeans
For those who don’t want to squeeze into tiny jeans for the holidays, we have a trend you might love — grandpa jeans. These jeans are loose yet tapered, comfy, high-waisted, usually in an old-school light wash, and just relaxed, in that abuelito kind of way. You will also see grandpa-like details like a carpenter handle on these jeans.

Paper Bag Waist Jeans
Another comfortable yet stylish denim trend for fall is paper bag waist jeans. These pants look just like they sound — pleated and gathered at the waist, usually with a tie. This highlights and slims the midsection without being tight. In general, tie-waist jeans are another standalone trend you will also be seeing this season.

High-Rise Straight-Leg Jeans
The next jean trend you will see on fashionistas far and wide is high-rise, straight-leg jeans. These are a nod to the ’90s, as are a lot of recent trends, and they’re an easy style to wear. You get a sleek leg, but with a bit more room than a skinny cut, and a high-waist style is flattering for many, as it hides any tummy issues you may want to hide.

You may own a pair of tuxedo-striped pants; if you do, it’s time to bring them out again! Side-striped pants are in vogue for fall. The stripes can be made up of ribbon, fabric, beads, or anything else. A trend that has been going strong, and won’t be going anywhere for fall and winter is frayed-hem jeans. This is such an easy trend to partake in. You can easily cut and then wash your existing jeans to reveal a raw, frayed edge and refresh denim that has gone stale in your wardrobe.
