The mother of all Latinas! The woman we all aspire to look like when we reach 78. Yep, you read that right. She came blazing onto the big screen in One Million Years B.C. Her mindset about life could be the secret to living your best life as she was once quoted as saying-“Once you get rid of the idea that you must please other people before you please yourself, and you begin to follow your own instincts — only then can you be successful. The original fly girl, Jenny from the Block (a.k.a J.Lo) is a force to be reckoned with and isn’t letting age define her. In fact, she’s been celebrating her 50th year with the “It’s My Party” tour reminding the world that she is in fact 50, not 25 despite her youthful glow. This triple threat sensation hit the ground running and hasn’t stopped since first rising to fame in Selena. Her upcoming films include The Hustlers with Cardi B and a rom-com with Maluma, and she’s also producing the World of Dance series. Her latest movie Second Act is a prime example of how to make your dreams come true no matter your age or where you come from. J.Lo has always pursued her passions and followed her heart but, as she said in her 2015 memoir, True Love, self-love is the goal. “You have to take care of yourself, your body, your mind, take care of your soul — be your own keeper,” she wrote.
