Yes, that’s right. Orlando, Florida, may just be the perfect spot to travel to with your loving partner—especially if you are the kind of couple that wants to actually do fun things and not just lie on a beach all week (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Lucky for you, the city in the middle of the Sunshine State has plenty of things to offer for couples who want to get out and be active. From a day at a theme park to some serious paddle boating, here are 10 great adventures you and your S.O. can have in Orlando.
A visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will help you relieve your childhoods.
You’re probably already planning to go to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure if you go to Orlando, right? Well, what you MUST put on your to do list is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is sure to make you and your partner remember days past. It’s a grand adventure when you visit Diagon Alley at Universal Studios and then take the Hogwarts Express over to Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure. So fun!

Reconnect with nature by walking around the Tibet-Butler Nature Preserve.

One of the more fun things you can do with your partner around Orlando is to take a romantic nature walk at the Tiber-Butler Nature Preserve. Go there around sunset and breathe in the fresh air… Ahh, nature. How wonderful to hold hands while on a romantic stroll, baby.

Head to downtown Orlando to paddleboat at Lake Eola Park.
Taking a paddleboat at the gorgeous Lake Eola Park is not only romantic but it’s gorgeous too. You’ll see great views and have another opportunity to experience a beautiful sunset. Plus, well, meeting some of those famous swans might be pretty fun too, right?

Go for many rounds of mini-golf at Pirate’s Cove and other places around town.

Mini-golf might be one of the more unconventional things on this list, but trust us when we say that it’s a hoot and a half at the Pirate’s Cove. It’s a bit silly but you can totally get into all of the fun (and even dress up, if you choose) by doing some put-put with your boo.

Check out Downtown Disney and eat at one of their kitschy themed restaurants.

One of the more fun things to do in Orlando is, of course, heading down to Downtown Disney. There are a ton of fabulous restaurants and plenty to do during any kind of night, but one of our favorite things is to try one of the fabulously kitschy restaurants. There’s plenty to choose from, so we wouldn’t blame you if you head here more than once during your vacay.

Bike like a pro at the gorgeous Baldwin Park.
Just LOOK at those views! This little park is the perfect place to take your bike (or even rent one nearby) for a romantic time. You’ll probably also want to pack a sexy little picnic and hang out for an extra special afternoon. The water, the palm trees, the atmosphere… It’s sure to bring you a pretty fantastic calm.

Holy WOW! The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye stands at a whopping 400 feet and is sure to make your day whenever you ride this baby. You’ll be lifted above Orlando and you’ll never believe how truly beautiful the city is until you’re soaring above it. There are so many gorgeous sights, you’ll want to ride this thing over and over again.

Catch dinner and a fun show at Universal City Walk.
After you leave visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, then you have to stop at Universal City Walk. There is so much to do here that you might even be a little bit astounded, to be honest. There are restaurants, there is shopping, and there is even the Hardrock Cafe theater venue where you can catch a pretty awesome show any night of the week. Do it!

Try bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes and you might just have a ball.
Bowling, just like mini-golf, can be a fun way to have a little adventure. Make it into a fun little adventure by competing to see who can score the most strikes. Winner gets to pick the next day’s activity, though we wouldn’t blame you if you end up wanting to come back here again.

Go out for a night of dancing at Jellyrolls and then Atlantic Dance Hall.
End your evening (or ALL of your evenings) with a fun night of dancing. Start out at Jellyrolls, a lively piano bar, and then end it at Atlantic Dance Hall, a nightclub where you can enjoy the hits of the 80s, 90s and today. It’s all kinds of fun when your bae pulls you close for a really fun time.
