Rihanna is seriously all about work, work, work, work, work, work. The girl has been killing it these days between having her own lingerie line, her beauty line Fenty Beauty, which literally sells out like hot cakes, and recently her own luxury clothing line based out of Paris — you know on top of being a big-time music artist. Well, it looks like all of her hard work has really paid off because, on Tuesday, Forbes estimated that her fortune is now worth $600 million, making her the world’s wealthiest female musician. Yasss girl!
RiRi makes more than iconic music artists Madonna ($570), Celine Dion ($450), Jennifer Lopez ($400) and wait for it — even Beyonce. That’s right y’all, Rihanna is allegedly richer than Bey herself who is currently at $400 million and apparently it’s all thanks to her beauty and fashion lines. In other words, it’s the money she’s made outside of the music that’s had her making that money. Fenty Beauty alone generated an estimated $570 million last year. That’s wild especially considering it’s only been in business for 15 months. Take a seat, Kylie Jenner!
Partnering with Bernard Arnault of LVMH for her luxury clothing line certainly didn’t hurt especially considering Arnault is only like the third richest person in the world. The fact that Rihanna isn’t just the richest Black female musician but also the richest female musician period is major! It’s also major that Serena Williams also made the first athlete to make Forbes list of the world’s richest self=-made women.
