Rihanna To Debut Savage x Fenty Collection At New York Fashion Week

Six months after Rihanna debuted her Savage x Fenty lingerie line, the singer is dropping her first-ever collection at New York Fashion Week. On September 12, Rihanna will show Savage x Fenty in Brooklyn in what her organizers are calling a fully “immersive experience.” It’s scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. and will be shown immediately “after the Marc Jacobs show that traditionally closes out NYFW,” The New York Post reports. So that means Rihanna is closing New York Fashion Week! That’s pretty major.

We’re not quite sure what that will entail, but knowing the brilliance of Rihanna and her beautiful lingerie collection, we’re certain she’s going to be putting on an incredible show. Vogue reports that the Savage x Fenty show will have a “see-now-buy-now format,” meaning whatever we like on the runway, we can purchase right away. The line will be completely available SavageX.com and at “Pop-ups in New York, at the Mall of America, and in two as-yet-unannounced locations will follow,” according to Vogue.

One of the biggest things we are looking forward to is the inclusivity of women of color and body positivity that will be on full display. We cannot wait to see what RiRi brings to the table.
