S’Ombré

Ombre hair has been in style for what feels like forever, but for Fall 2019, one of the big trends is s’ombre. The softer version of ombre, the transition from dark to light is less harsh and more subtle. It’s an easy way to transition from lighter summer hair to something with some darkness for fall.

Rapinkoe

World Cup-winning soccer star Megan Rapinoe continues to inspire women everywhere. This time, it’s with her purple-pink hair, dubbed the Rapinkoe. It will be a go-to hue for fall, proving that you don’t have to go serious when autumn rolls around. You can still be bold and badass for fall!

Milk Tea

Although Milk Tea hair has been a thing for a while in Japan, the trend has blown up for 2019. The color is just how it sounds, that in-between warm and ash milky brown color you get when you add leche to tea. Colors that are in between light and dark seem to be a larger trend for Fall 2019 hair; they’re the happy middle ground between summer lights and brights, and fall’s rich deeper, darker hues.

Golden Black

Black hair doesn’t have to be flat with no dimension. Just look at the Golden Black hair trend for fall! You have all the richness of black tresses, but with a cool golden tinge via gilded highlights. A lot of recent trending hair colors are named after food: mulled wine, hot toddy, salmon sushi, cold brew, and more. One of the next culinary-inspired hair trends you’ll be seeing for fall is Dark Roast. It’s just like it sounds — a dark cool brown with little warmth but lots of style.
