You may already be making DIY hair masks with nourishing avocado, so why not try out this easy DIY avocado face mask by Kadeeja Sel Khan of Emerald Beauty?

Ingredients:

Avocado ? 1 piece
Honey ? 1 tablespoon
Egg white ? 1
Yogurt plain 2 tablespoon ? This is the first homemade face mask from my 7-day challenge. This face mask felt super refreshing & brightened up my face. I have super sensitive skin as you guys know so I was a little worried before trying it, but it was smooth, soft & I had no skin reaction. MESSY THOUGH! The ingredients I’ve added are Acne skin-friendly.

HOW I MADE IT: ? I cut the Avocado in half and carved as much out. I then grabbed some plain Yogurt & put 2 tablespoons of it in the mixer. I then added 1 Egg white & finished off with one tablespoon of pure honey.

APPLYING IT: ? I applied it with a clean foundation brush or even a face mask brush. It does drip A LOT as it’s very runny! But I kept a towel on my lap for any fallouts. I kept the mask on for 15 minutes until it felt hard & solid.

REMOVING IT: ?I then removed the mask with a damp towel just to see the difference, then rinsed off with warm water. My skin felt so bright & fresh!

THIS WORKS:

This face mask works well with acne-prone skin because it’s rich in vitamins and helps to remove access oil. It’s soothing and also helps fight off bacteria while unclogging pores.
