Watching Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s daughter, Emme, flourish in the spotlight is an incredible thing to witness. Yes, she is talented just like her mom, but her spark is different and all her own. It is that uniqueness that continues to propel Emme to the next phase in her career — yes, she has a career. At just 12-years-old, Emme is soon-to-be a published author.
Jennifer announced on Instagram that Emme got her first book deal. The book is titled “Lord Help Me!” and it’s available for pre-order now. Jennifer shared a little about what this book is about. “So proud of my lil coconut 🥥 Emme, as she shares her own daily prayers in her very first book LORD HELP ME! This book will offer families a way to embrace the peace and power of everyday faith.”
We are so impressed that a 12-year-old can tackle the complexities of religion and can articulate the power of faith to small children ages three to seven.
Random House is publishing the book, and here they explain more about the book. “The everyday power of prayer comes to life in this inspirational picture book written by twelve-year-old budding singer Emme Muñiz. We all have moments every day where we can use a little help. Some are small, like waking up for school or getting along with a sibling. Others are big, like helping to save the planet and all its creatures—especially sloths! But asking God for help always brings us the strength to get through anything. Emme Muñiz shares her own daily prayers to offer families a way to embrace the peace and power of everyday faith.”
We honestly had no idea that Jennifer was so faithful, and maybe she is, or perhaps she isn’t. Either way, it’s beautiful to see her daughter expressing herself and her thoughts about faith. In a press release, provided by E!, Emme talked about what helped her realize that there is power in prayer.
“In school, I learned about sloths and how they’re facing extinction, so I began to pray for them in my nightly prayers,” Muñiz said in a press release. “I wrote this book to help raise money to save sloths while also teaching other children how we can pray and ask for help, two things that bring me a lot of comfort.”
This little girl is extraordinary, and we can’t wait to see her grow.
