Adrienne Bailon Had A Cinco De Mayo, Selena-Themed Party

Cinco de Mayo is all about celebrating Mexican culture, so it sort of makes sense that Adrienne Bailon took that concept to a new level. The TV personality honored the Battle of Puebla (what Cinco de Mayo is actually about) by paying tribute to Mexican-American legend Selena Quintanilla.

Bailon, and her gal pals, which included “Once Upon A Time” actress Dania Ramirez, TV host Julissa Bermudez, and her “The Real” co-host Jeannie Mai, all dressed up as Selena. “All different versions of the legend!” Bailon said on Instagram. “So much fun with my ladies…& thank you to @itsasweetlifebykim for making my vision come to life! With the Selena – 1986 Red convertible @porsche & her favorites… White roses! Just like me. LOVED IT!”

Bailon didn’t miss a beat with her Selena-inspired look. She had the hair, the makeup, the outfits (yes, she had multiple looks), and even the Grammy’s!

“SELENA ? Cinco De Mayo! You know I always keep it REAL,” Bailon said on Instagram. “So, When I get to be with real friends, celebrating a real legend… SELENA ? of course I’m breaking out my REAL diamonds because they always represent life’s most special moments and only real ones will do — no lab grown diamonds in my jewelry box! Ha#GetReal #SelenaCincoDeMayo#AllThingsAdrienne.”

They also had karaoke where they attempted to do their best Selena impression. “Como La Flor ? Bailon writes on Instagram.  “When your were already planning a SELENA party just for fun & the only day available to do it… is Cinco De Mayo… You celebrate it ALL TOGETHER! & cherish beautiful moments like this… with @allybrooke singing one of our favorite songs from our favorite singer! When different generations of latinas from girl groups unite! Ha. My heart was happy! You’re beautiful inside & out Ally! & like you said… “Que Viva Mexico!” (Screaming it with all my heart!) Besitos xo.”

Needless to say, the Puerto Rican TV star went all out for her love of Mexican culture.
