Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” video. Donald Glover’s musical alter ego has recently released a music video that is sending waves across the world. Although that may not seem like huge news at first, the powerful video has an insightful take on everything from from gun violence to police brutality to race in America.
Needless to say, the world is flipping out about the music video. Can we even call it a music video or should it be more like a… musical protest? A political work of art?
