Year after year Miami celebrates the wine and food festival, and let me tell you it is getting even better! SOBEWFF is one of the events that is most looked forward to by both locals and visitors. Now in its 16th year, the festival has also established itself as a favorite among the highly regarded chefs and other industry professionals who lead demonstrations and seminars.

Chefs became celebrities and with that comes the exotic and gourmet dishes, not to mention the Italian wines that were a hit! Rachael Ray, Andrew Zimmern, Guy Fieri and Giada De Laurentiis were some of the personalities attending the Festival.  The Food Network and the Cooking Channel were so crowded that it was getting a little intense to get there, but it was worth it.

HipLatina received an exclusive invite to experience what happens when top chefs from NOLA and Brooklyn throw down.

The event kicked off with a head-to-head competition where the chefs were challenged to create their favorite dish that is a perfect complement to #servewithacoke. NOLA’s top chef Aaron Sanchez and Brooklyn’s street food master Roblé Ali fed the fodder with their comedic banter and mad culinary skills, each delivered tasty bites.

Chef Roblé Ali fed the crowd a delicious chive aioli potato salad.
