Get Ready to Fall In Love With This Set of Selena Quintanilla Valentine’s Day Cards

It’s officially February, a.k.a. the month of love, and if you’re anything like me, you’re already thinking about how Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Although I was never a huge fan of the holiday, I am a fan of celebrating VDay in any way you see fit — whether you’re celebrating it as a proud single lady, hanging with your girls or happily in the arms of your sweetie. When preparing for the holiday, though, the first thing you might be thinking of is where to get those Valentine’s Day cards.

When we were little, we gave out Valentine’s Day cards to all of our classmates. Now that we’re grown-ups, though, we can pick and choose who gets one. From our loves to our BFFs to our mami, showing the people we love how much we care about them is always a special treat. And this Valentine’s Day the treat is even MORE special because we found the perfect Valentine’s Day cards to give out: Selena Quintanilla-inspired cards by @jm_illustrations on Instagram.

Josue Morin, the graphic artist behind the vintage-inspired line of Valentine’s Day cards, has designed a beautiful line of “Anything for Selinas” cards. It’s a set of six cards that features some of our favorite lines from her music. There’s the “No Me Queda Mas Que Seas Mi Valentine” card with a dressed-up Selena holding a heart that says I Love You, the “You Make My Heart Go Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” card with Selena singing in one of her famous outfits, the “Carcacha Paso A Pasito Eres Mi Valentine” with Selena and a boyfriend (Chris Perez?) driving in a bright yellow convertible, the “Eres Mi Amor Prohibido” card with Selena and her dapper man looking sexy and dressed up, the “Tu Eres Mi Chico Del Apartamento 512” with a man standing in front of a door that says 512, and the “Take a Pizza of my heart for Valentines” with Selena dressed in her sparkly hat and holding a large pizza that she’s clearly offering to the man of her dreams.

Personally, I’d go for the pizza one. But seriously, any one of these cards would make an absolutely PERFECT gift for your Valentine. The Vintage Inspired Anything For Selinas Valentine Cards (set of 6) are sold through MissHotShop’s Etsy store and go for just $10. What a steal!

The artist hasn’t stopped there, though. His Instagram also features a Selena-inspired poster, a Selena car air freshener and even Selena-themed Loteria Cards (which are also available on MissHotShop’s Etsy store for $16). WOWZA!

Who wouldn’t appreciate an ALL Selena Quintanilla-themed Valentine’s Day celebration? Between the cards and the Lotería game as a gift, you can’t go wrong. Sure, there are also Selena Quintanilla shirts and other gifts for serious fans, but since Valentine’s Day is around the corner… Why not start here?

We hope to see artist Josue Morin continue his Selena Quintanilla-inspired products, though, because once Valentine’s Day is over, we’re going to need another Selena card ASAP.
