Theme of the Week: Temperance
This week you’ll find yourself in the role of a master manipulator. Some of you may even be maneuvering a few situations. You will be carefully doing your bidding all in the name of a higher good. The issue is not that your intent is dishonorable. But, there is an old saying that goes, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” While your heart might be in the right place, pay attention to when your efforts could be going too far. Things could escalate more than you expected and you might just get more than you bargained for.
Your Card: 10 of Wands
You are holding on to a heavy burden, Taurus. You just do not want to let go because some part of you feels like it is going to be worth it. I’m seeing that if you do continue to carry this, you will end up steady on the same journey, just with added strain placed upon yourself. At some point, you are going to have to put all the hardship and difficulty away. You will be on the same path, but you will be lighter, freer and more determined than ever. Don’t let this drag you down any longer.
Your Card: The Magician
Looks like the theme of the week is strongly directed towards you, Gem! The Magician is a master manipulator and knows how to make things happen. Even if he is a bit unsure about how he has all the gadgets and gizmos he needs to get the job done. This doesn’t mean that he does not make mistakes every once in a while. But, everyone knows that a magician never reveals his secrets. So whatever stunt you decide to pull— no matter the outcome— is going with you straight to the grave. Be careful and try not to ruin too many lives this week.
Your Card: 9 of Swords
What is stressing you out, dear Cancer? You can be a worry-wart at times, and this week looks set for that. You are feeling a bit in the dark and it is not only preventing you from moving forward but from moving at all. Until you see a glimmer of hope or light of positivity, it seems as if you are almost pinned to your misery. Things may hurt now, but remember that you are in the dark. It can be very difficult to make out clearly what is happening. A bit of clarity may be on the horizon for you, though. Be open and willing to accept a new type of communication.
Your Card: Knight of Swords
You are riding in no holds barred this week, Leo. You are ready to say what you mean and mean what you say, whether it is good, bad, or ugly. I am seeing a lot of frustration. Your words and actions are stemming from a logical standpoint, not an emotional one, so feelings could get hurt. It isn’t likely you will care about that so much this week, but once you cool down, it might cross your mind. If you’re feeling inspired to take what you want, the Knight of Swords says, “GO FOR IT!” Jump in and don’t look back. Just watch who’s toes you’re stepping on along the way!
Your Card: The Sun
Things are looking up, Virgo! You have a lot going for you right now. You know this and you can see it, but somehow, it doesn’t completely feel like it. There is some part of you that feels a little run down and exhausted by all this excitement and energy. It isn’t that you want to be a Negative Nancy, but you’re having a bit of a hard time fully enjoying your good fortune. Part of this could be that you’re wondering when the other shoe will drop. If you’re too busy focusing on when the next let down in life will be, you will never feel like you have any good moments at all!
Your Card: The Chariot
You are moving fast, Libra. The only question is, which direction are you moving in? You seem pretty confident that you are going somewhere, but where that is will be determined by the path you choose. This is a big decision that will lay out the road to your future. Do not think of it as you are making a “right” or “wrong” choice. Understand that the only difference is the kind of journey you experience. Neither is better or worse than the other, only different. Now, it is time to ask yourself how you want to continue.
Your Card: King of Cups
Mic check 1-2, 1-2! I applaud you for keeping it so together this week, Scorp. You will be doing a lot of checking yourself, before wrecking yourself. But, the good news is that you succeed in maintaining equilibrium and do not let your emotions get the better of you. Everyone who knows you knows that your feelings are some of the most intense of the zodiac, so it is a challenge to keep your composure when fired up. Your hard work won’t go unnoticed and this will soon play to your advantage.
Your Card: 5 of Cups
You have that distant look in your eye again, Sag. What, or who, are you longing for this week? There is something on your mind that has been there for a while, even if only in the deep, dark crevices of your psyche. This week, those concerns reappear and there isn’t much you can do to keep them out of the forefront. Everywhere you go and everything you do, it’s like there is always another reminder just around the corner. Although you likely feel otherwise, this isn’t simply to torture you. Consider this a friendly reminder that you need closure.
Your Card: The High Priestess
I see you working on a secret project of sorts, Cap. This is something that has gone through many phases, from taking a leap of faith, to inception, perhaps some reconstruction, and re-writes. As you prime and perfect, you are drawing closer and closer to a place where you are comfortable with sharing this new vision, or creation, with others. Although this project may feel very personal and meaningful to you, do not be afraid of critique once you decide to reveal it to the world. As Winston Churchill said, “Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary.”
Your Card: Knight of Cups
You have some sweet news this week, Aquarius. I feel that you’re going to be the one announcing the news rather than receiving, but it could be the opposite for a few of you. It has been a long journey to get to this point, and there is still a ride ahead, but this news will ease both you and others enough to put you in a state of contentment for the time being. This holds emotional value to you, which can be quite heavy for an air sign like you to hold. You might need two hands for a minute, but you’ll eventually regain your composure. It’s okay to let yourself surrender to love, even if only for a moment.
Your Card: The Star
You’re trying so hard, Pisces. I see you putting in a tremendous effort in hopes of receiving, eventually, the same energy you are investing. Pisces, one thing you must come to terms with, is that if you do something for others that aren’t asked of you, you are not rightly owed anything in return. Giving past the point of hurting yourself only creates unnecessary resentment. Not everyone understands your motives and not everyone feels the same motivation to give to such an overwhelming extent. This does not make them bad people or mean that they don’t care for you, they just function differently.
Your Card: The Hierophant
It’s time to get back to your roots, Aries. Take it down a notch with any recent wild or uncharacteristic behaviors and focus on re-centering yourself. I keep hearing to visit your abuelos. Besides literally going to see your grandparents, which would be wonderful if you can — this means more along the lines of getting back in touch with your own values and traditions. This could be as simple as cooking with your mom, re-establishing movie night with your bestie, even going to church or temple. Evaluate the ways you aren’t staying aligned with your true self. You’ll know what you need to do from there.
