Yes, her full first name is Demetria! Demetria Devonne Lovato was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 20, 1992, and raised in Dallas, Texas. She gets her Latinx heritage from her father, Patrick Martin Lovato, who was also a musician, and engineer.

Demi Will Be Performing at This Year’s Grammys

She’ll be Singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl

One of the things that Demi Lovato has done to give back to those with mental illness is to launch The Lovato Treatment Scholarship Program in 2013.
