With her chic sense of style and iconic role as Maddy Perez in Euphoria, Alexa Demie has become one of Hollywood’s most mysterious It-girls. But did you know the Mexican-American actress has also dabbled in music?
Recently, her song “Leopard Limo (Archive LL11)” marked its fifth anniversary. Demie released the romantic ballad on YouTube on September 12, 2021, under her own label, Demiegod Records. The video—directed by Demie’s friend and Waves co-star Taylor Russell—made waves online after Euphoria‘s 2019 debut.
Demie first made her musical debut in 2016. Under Demiegod Records, the Latina star released her dreamy first single, “Girl Like Me,” on August 28.
Music isn’t the only side quest Demie has explored throughout her career. In high school, she launched a successful sunglasses line called Mainframe. She also collaborated with photographer Petra Collins in 2021 on “Fairy Tales,” an erotic short story collection.
Demie hasn’t released any music since “Leopard Limo,” but we’re still hopeful she’ll return to music.
