Lin-Manuel Miranda, James Corden, and Emily Blunt Performed 22 Musicals in 12 Minutes

Lin-Manuel is knee-deep in promoting Mary Poppins Returns this week, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have fun while doing it. The consummate performer appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” alongside his co-star Emily Blunt. But the pair didn’t just do a standard interview with Corden, they put on an actual show.
The trio performed, not one, not two, but 22 musicals in just 12 minutes! Seems impossible when you consider costume changes and set changes. Here’s the list of musicals they did, not in any particular order:
Cabaret, Chicago, La La Land, Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, Evita, DreamGirls, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, Fiddler On the Roof, Singin’ in the Rain, Les Misérables, Once, Into the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors, Les Miserables, Moulin Rouge, Once, The Muppet Movie, Fame, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and Mama Mia.
That’s a whole lot of singing and dancing, but they pulled it off brilliantly! Check out the performance below.

Miranda tweeted: “This. Was. Fun.” But we can say it was probably more fun for us to watch.
Aside from promoting Mary Poppins Returns, Miranda was also on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” this week to announce that his reprised role in Hamilton will be filmed live in Puerto Rico. Fallon and Miranda will tape a special episode of the Tonight show that will include Hamilton and air on NBC on Jan. 15.
