Earlier this year, there were a couple of rumors flying around that Bad Bunny was set to retire this year, but we can see now that is far from the truth. Despite being on lockdown, Bad Bunny is busier than ever. Last night, the Puerto Rican Latin trap artist released another new album titled “Las Que No Iban a Salir” — just a couple of months since releasing his hit sophomore album.
“Las Que No Iban a Salir” — which translates to “The Ones That Were Not Coming Out” — is a ten-track album, and it features some recognizable stars. The first single, which you can listen to below, is called “Si ella sale.”
There’s also “Más que una cita” featuring reggaeton icons Zion & Lennox, and “Canción con yandel,” which is a collaboration with you guessed it Yandel. “Pa’ romperla” has Don Omar on it, and “Cómo se siente” is a remix with Jhay Cortez. We also love that the single Bad Bunny released last month with his girlfriend Gabriella “En casita” is also featured on the new album.
We can’t think of another artist who’s as busy as Bad Bunny during this incredibly chaotic time. Before the pandemic even went down in the U.S., Bad Bunny dropped the highly acclaimed and historic album, YHLQMDLG. His sophomore album has been the hit album that has kept everyone dancing during our shelter-in-place order.
He’s also showing off his comedic skills by releasing hilarious videos with his girlfriend, which clearly secured him a spot on “Saturday Night Live” At Home edition. And he’s still releasing music videos and doing live Instagram sessions with fans. He’s doing all of this from his home in Puerto Rico. Damn, we’re tired just from listing his busy schedule. Maybe he does deserve a break — not a retirement.
Before he can promote his third album, he is still getting praise for his second. Billboard reported that YHLQMDLG “has now spent 10 weeks in the top 10 on the Billboard 200, which is as you know the highest-charting all-Spanish-language album in history.
In his latest Instagram post may show that Bad Bunny is acting totally chill about all of these accolades, but he is definitely grateful. He captioned the images by saying “gracias” many times.

We can’t think of what else he can do while at home, but perhaps a live concert on social media would is in the works. We can only hope.
