We’ve seen a lot of progress made when it comes to body positivity, beauty diversity and representation. But as refreshing as it is to see more models sporting stretch marks or curvier bodies on some of our favorite shopping sites—it’s not often we see them showing off chichos, rolls, or back fat. But a recent collab with online retailer ASOS and plus-size Colombian model, Natalia Lorenzo has just changed that. The gorgeous model is seen showing off back rolls in a new ad that has folks beyond excited.

Lorenzo is posed wearing a gorgeous backless red dress that not only shows her curvy shape but her back rolls and she looks amazing! In fact, she looks so great folks on Twitter have been praising it. Fashion blogger Callie Thorpe even shared the photo on Twitter and expressed her excitement.

“Look at this gorgeous model and her cute back rolls just out here to show women that their bodies are normal and that real life isn’t photoshopped and filtered.”

This was an important move for a number of reasons. The majority of the plus-size models we still see tend to have hourglass shapes, minimal belly fat, smooth backs and waists, and not a lot of rolls anywhere. But not all curvy women are built that way. Women come in various sizes AND shapes and it’s important to have that displayed in ads, so that women can not only feel like their beauty is being represented but also are able to see how certain fashion styles would look on figures more similar to theirs.

Inclusivity is no longer an option these days. It’s a must and women are demanding it.
