Cosmo‘s cover is fantastic! The October issue of Cosmopolitan UK features full-figured model Tess Holliday and people are over the moon about this inclusion of body positivity. While Cosmo has featured full-figured models before — well, technically just one (Ashley Graham), Holliday’s cover is pushing the limits of representation.

The model posted her elation on Instagram: “Phew, I’m literally a COSMO GIRL!! Can’t believe I’m saying that! ?? Thank you @cosmopolitanuk & @farrahstorr for this incredible opportunity ?? If I saw a body like mine on this magazine when I was a young girl, it would have changed my life & hope this does that for some of y’all ? Issue hits stands 8/31! ???? Photo by the incredible @wattsupphoto #effyourbeautystandards.”

Holliday isn’t the only one ecstatic over the inclusion of full-figured bodies on the cover of magazines. Plenty of people on social media praised the magazine for showing that beauty comes in any size.

wrote on Twitter: “More body diversity in media please. That includes women, men and non-binary.”

@Oddsbodikins7  said: “How many young women would have been out enjoying life knowing they’re beautiful as they are, rather than crying over why they don’t look like they “should”, if photos like this were more prevalent?” wrote: “Hello, I have just discovered my newfound obsession, Supermodel Tess Holliday. That hair! That face! Those curves! The TATTOOS! Seriously, how freaking FABULOUS is this cover?”

Yeah, it’s pretty fabulous. However, their were some people that had to post negative comments about the cover. For example, take @benimanajpaul, who wrote on Twitter: “Please don’t promote obesity. Obesity is a serious condition.” But the best clapback to that is ‏ @lindieface who said: “Unless you’re her doctor, refrain from commenting on anyone’s health. You cannot tell a person’s health based on size.✌?”What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below.
