Eva Longoria’s rep publicly announced that she was expecting her first child last week and now we’re getting a first look at her baby bump! The actress, and social justice activist, had a very special and busy Christmas with her man, her friends, and her workout. One of the most inspiring aspects to Eva’s pregnancy news is that women over 35 should never give up hope when they’re trying to conceive, and also it’s important to stay active.
“Doing our Christmas morning workout,” the “Desperate Housewives” said on Instagram while celebrating the holidays in sunny Miami.

Eva also spent time with her close girlfriends including Olivia Munn, Serena Williams, Gabrielle Union.
For all those expecting mothers out there, Eva amazingly proves how to keep the stress levels low by doing the things you’d normally do like working out and hanging out with friends.
We also love that she’s working out with her hubby, José “Pepe” Antonio Bastón! It sure looks like she’s handling her first pregnancy like a true champ and we can’t wait to see how beautifully she progresses.
While she hasn’t spoken about the baby herself, her rep did confirm to People magazine that she is four months along and is expecting a boy.
Last year, she had to stop pregnancy rumors after some unflattering images were published online. She said: “Morning, everybody, last day in paradise and I’m exhausted. We worked out this morning. So I saw some pictures of myself [looking] really fat on a boat. I have to tell you, all I did was eat cheese. So that’s the news of the day. I’m not pregnant, just eating a lot of cheese, a lot of wine, a lot of pancakes.”
It’s terrible that we live in a culture in which a person has to explain themselves when any sort of image that supposedly depicts weight gain has to be clarified. Either way, we’re happy that Eva is living her life the way she chooses.
