Theme of the Week: The Empress
This week, you’ll be in your element! Comfortable in your own skin and, more importantly, in your power. You are no longer a worker bee, but the queen bee. Recently, things may have been a little hazy in your direction. Now, it’s time to take a moment to gaze over your kingdom and see how far you’ve come. This is only the beginning, but treat yo’self. You’ve earned it.
Your Card: Ace of Wands
Scorpio, you are sick and tired of being sick and tired! Something happens to push you over the edge this week and you’re not putting up with the B.S. anymore! This is actually a step in the right direction for you. Self-pity has its time and place, but wallowing in it is just downright unhealthy. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and out of that funk! Take back your life and remember that things are happening FOR you, not TO you!
Your Card: 8 of Pentacles
Keep chipping away, Sag, and slowly but surely you will arrive at your destination. You can be a hard worker when you have something to focus on, but you may be feeling a little disheartened right now. It seems like no matter what you try, things just aren’t working out. Right now, it is all about trial and error. Keep looking and keep giving it your best. You will soon find yourself on the right path.
Your card: 4 of Swords
Capricorn, you have been working yourself to the bone! It is time for a well-deserved break. All will not be lost if you take some time for yourself. In fact, if you keep burning the candle at both ends you may very well end up doing much more harm than good. If you’ve been feeling extra fatigued or foggy, it may be wise to check on those adrenal glands and make sure you haven’t already burned yourself out. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup!
Your Card: Justice
The scales of Justice are tipping, dear Aquarius. In order to restore balance, you must make a decision. Justice likes to clean out karmic residue, so if there has been anything in particular weighing on you, take this as a sign that it is time to pay extra attention to this matter. You must take steps to begin a new cycle, rather than dragging on in your current one. Wiping away those karmic stains will not only make you feel lighter, but help you continue on in a healthier, happier direction.
Your Card: Ace of Cups
You’re ready to offer yourself mind, body and soul. While this is a beautiful and sincere sentiment, do not do so in haste. Be sure this offer is not only deserved, but in your best interest. Dig deeper and hold out just a little longer. Once you give of yourself so wholly, it is not quite so simple to get it back. Make sure those hands you are entrusting aren’t ones you only FEEL can be trusted, but have proven they can be.
Your Card: 7 of Cups
“Dream a little dream of me.” Your head is in the clouds this week with daydreams of what could be! Let yourself float away. Although your feet may not feel like they’re on the ground, this time is still important for you right now and can be used constructively. Take note of what you’re being drawn to most when your mind wanders and use that as inspiration. Perhaps it’s time to make yourself a dream board? Guess what, there’s an app for that so you can dream on the go. Aries, it’s time to start making your dreams a reality!
Your Card: 7 of Wands
In your fervent attempts to make something happen, it seems as if other responsibilities continue to pull you in the opposite direction. Don’t try to do it all at once or you may get overwhelmed and simply shut down all together. Sit down, take a breath, then put everything on its own separate piece of paper or post-it note- whatever works for you. Then, prioritize! What must be done immediately and what might be best left for the weekend? Think about when you want to tackle each item on your list and figure out how you’re going to do it, so all that is left for you to do is follow-through. This will take a big load off your mind and help you to work at peak performance in all matters.
Your Card: 5 of Swords
You may make some kind of trade-off this week and on the surface think you got the better end of the deal, but deep down, this may feel like an empty victory, Gemini. Some things just aren’t meant for you. There is a saying that people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Try to keep that in mind this week and take stock of all the things you’ve learned- the good, the bad and the ugly. This is the knowledge that will help you walk on a path towards a better future. The universe can work quite simplistically at times. If you don’t learn from your mistakes, you are meant to repeat them until you do. It is time to take more responsibility for yourself and your actions.
Your Card: Ace of Swords
There is so much you want to say, dear Cancer, but you find it difficult to put together the words that express your thoughts just so. Stephen King once said, “The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them- words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they’re brought out.” Do your best this week to take stock of those thoughts and feelings, as they need an outlet of expression more now than ever. Don’t let the moment pass you by. Prepare yourself and have confidence in yourself. Do not fear judgement or discourse. If you never ask, the answer will always be no.
Your Card: The Devil
You feel chained to something that is bordering on obsession. When we hear the term “obsession” it usually signifies some type of unhealthy attachment. In this case, though, the intrusive thoughts are due to some kind of suppression. Whether you haven’t been honest with yourself about your feelings, or honest with someone else, you must find a way to express yourself so that you can continue on in a happy, healthy manner. Dig deeper into these fantasies and you’ll find that you know what you need to do. You’ve known all along.
Your Card: 4 of Cups
An opportunity is afoot that you want no part of. At least, you think you don’t, Virgo. Take a closer look and at least give it a bit of consideration before you completely dismiss it. Look at it from all possible angles because this has the potential to lead to a big change. As Joseph Campbell said, “Where you stumble and fall, there you will find gold.”
Your Card: 5 of Pentacles
“For better or better” is what you prefer, Libra, but this week you might have to contend with the “worse.” Although this will likely be nothing earth-shattering, it may feel like you’re trudging through mud. Each step weighing heavy and burdensome. The doors will soon open and you’ll be out of the cold. Trust that hard times have their place and are serving to strengthen your bonds.
