Eating disorders look different for everyone and unfortunately, they often go undiagnosed or untreated within the Latinx community. There are many types of eating disorders and treatment options available online and for this list we wanted to highlight some accessible resources. Alongside  national resources there are also apps, hotlines, therapists, and online communities that can you can follow if you’re looking to lose weight or recover from an eating disorder. This list includes Latinas using their platform to promote intuitive eating such as Dalina Soto as well as apps and national resources like the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA). Here are 10 resources dedicated to body positivity, meal ideas that celebrate LATAM foods, and providing accessible tools for recovery.

National Eating Disorders Association Helpline

The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is the largest nonprofit organization in the U.S. dedicated to supporting individuals affected by eating disorders. They offer several resources including a free screening tool for ages 13 and up as well as info on free and low cost support which is crucial for many Latinas who don’t have access to information or health care.
