8 Instagram Accounts Giving Us Major Halloween Costume Inspiration

I love Halloween – the corn candies, the dressing up, the parties – all of it! But if you’re like me every year as the leaves turn yellow I begin to internally panic; “I dunno what to be! Is there more out there than just being a sexy versions of things?” I have so many questions! Luckily I did you a solid and saved you a TON of aggravation – here are eight of my favorite Instagram accounts with the most creative ideas for outfits and makeup.

Be a Mexican treat.

Syd Presley is out here living her best Latina life in the form of Takis, pan dulce and other familiar Mexican treats.

You can never go wrong with a Star Wars character.

Chelsea Bloxsom created Adventure Time-inspired plush toys, pins and patches. She is also great at dressing up like her favorite Star War characters. This Han Solo costume is everything!

Be a character from your favorite movie.

Erin Rivera has a flair for the spooky and the horror film inspired! Her looks are a perfect jumping off point for those of us who don’t know what to dress up as. She nailed this Mia Wallace look from the movie Pulp Fiction

Let your makeup say it all.

Sometimes your makeup IS the costume. Brenna Mazzoni is a makeup artist who makes scary look cute and complicated techniques look easy.

Dress your baby up.

You’ve probably seen these photos around the internet at some point, Laura Izumikawa has the absolute cutest ideas for your Halloween baby and some of them are totally last minute doable and can even be translated into adult form. Or you can leave everyone shook by dressing your kid in something woke AF

Play with makeup.

Do a look that’s actually terrifying.

Mykie gives us some expert level Halloween faces and outfit ideas. I could never recreate these BUT I can totally use it as inspo.

Be a cute cartoon character.

Kiera gives us more cute inspo on how to dress up like our favorite characters! Her looks are incredibly versatile. They’re also doable, so cute, and can work with every kind of budget.

Dress up with bae.

This Cardi B and Offset Halloween couple costume duo is bound to win best costumes at your next party.

Be a creepy nun.

Dominican hair and makeup artist Carol Urena nailed this creepy nun look. This is hands down the best Monja costume we’ve seen thus far.

Do a gory look.

Need ideas? We definitely recommend checking out Latina makeup artist and beauty influencer Christina Vega’s account for inspo.
