Selena and her sister Suzette shared a special bond and since the singer’s passing, Suzette has been behind some of the biggest deals honoring her sister’s legacy. She worked with MAC to deliver an unforgettable makeup collection, she helped provide specific one-of-a-kind details for Selena’s Google Doodle, as she did for Selena’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds. For the latest homage to Selena, Suzette got her hands dirty helping create her sister’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which will be unveiled tonight, November 3, at 6:30p.m. (PST)

When Suzette initially announced the date Selena would be honored with her star, the family released a statement expressing their joy. “This day is finally becoming a reality and we cannot be happier. We are grateful Selena’s life has been an inspiration to so many and we hope it will continue to encourage people to follow their dreams.”

Yup, his caption is giving us ALL the feels.

Moments like these remind us of Selena’s legendary status. It has been 22 years since she died, but her music and spirit will live on forever.
